Do we know yet what will replace it?

I’m just shocked that something from ATT would be so crappy. /s

  3. Tip of the iceberg. RSN are all struggling as more and more people move away from cable/satellite. First it will be the small markets like ATT. Eventually the big dogs in California and New York will be hit with the same thing.

I don’t know what the short term future for the Jazz broadcast rights will be. In the long term the League is going to have to figure out how to work with people who stream only. Yes, they have league pass. However, the blackouts dictated in RSN contracts are going to have to be eliminated for a large majority of fans.

The big unknown is can the owners make more money with traditional broadcast contracts or by selling directly to the fans themselves. I don’t know if the Jazz fanbase is big enough that they can legitimately not sign a similar contract with another broadcaster.

My two cents on the issue. Even though my dream is non blacked out league pass.

I dont really care because I use LP and I hear a lot of people hated it, so , rest in piss I suppose

Rest in piss, you greedy bastards. You will not be missed.

  6. Ok hear me out… BYUtv. They are nationwide, have a streaming platform, and best of all it’s currently offered free to anyone who creates a log-in.

Probably a pipe dream, but it’s hard to think up a better streaming platform. Would be pretty controversial in some circles though.

I would love to watch the Jazz but as a streamer FUBO is way too expensive.

Will it still be on ATT through the end of the season? Or is it dropping before then?
