I was still a hopeless fan thinking play in was possible, but this one just murdered me.

  2. JaguarsDTWD

Glad I wasted 15 minutes watching the last 1 minute of that game

  3. Matt_Netherlands

This team will never get into the single digits in games under .500. Literally trading wins and losses for forever. Great first half by Paolo, bad second half shooting 2-11.

  4. FromORLtoSD

It’s smart basketball, but damn them fouling us to end the game! Good showing without Wendell and Gary.

  5. mattj1621

The NBA is just a giant free throw competition

  6. Dumb ending. But if you’re like me and knew the play in was a pipe dream, then this was a good loss. Competitive. Paolo, Franz and Fultz played well. Indy beat Chicago so they’re both tied with 36 losses and now we have a little cushion with 38. Top 5 odds > 11 seed.

  7. Churchills_m8

Remember what kyle Lowry did to AG? Dame did it to Suggs. FDL fuck Damian lillard.

  8. ricksenberg

Smart strategy but the weakest shit.

Either way, tough L. Play-ins getting farther and farther out of reach.

  9. ivebeenhumble

We gotta beat one of Phoenix, Mil, and Utah. This won’t be a fun week

  10. SincereFan

They need to make those intentional fouls a violation. Its cowardly, ruins the flow of the game, and is a non basketball play. Its legit boring. Why allow teams to decide to int foul just to keep a 3pt lead always 3pts. Its impossible to break out of it. Something needs to change

  11. jackloganoliver

    Refs can suck my dick.

But still, missed free throws and a number of really wasted possessions is what cost this game.

Also, can’t help but feel like the FO was very happy to lose this game.

  12. Ilive4airtime

The last 30 seconds made me wanna blow my brains out. Free throw extravaganza was a painful and slow way to die

  13. BancheroBot

Why didn’t we try throwing it off the front of the rim during the final free throws? Get the rebound and try to toss another up? We didn’t seem to have a strategy other than hope Damian Lillard would miss a free-throw

  14. Far_Football7008

1/6 Mo Wagner on wide open threes, 1/5 Cole Anthony on wide open threes

  15. Geezerpunk

The NBA is turning into a competition to draw as many fouls as possible

  16. SpideyUdaman

That seriously sucks. Time to just play without the stress of making the playin, and doing the best you can each game. One at a time. Next season is the real beginning.

  17. Mstargicbball

I still don’t understand the logic of barley playing a rookie in Houstan and then inserting him in the final seconds and not expecting something like this to happen.

  18. Careless-Yam-3823

I hate to say it but coaching made a difference. Chauncey Billups had saved his challenge and used it to successfully overturn the charge did Jalen Suggs took. Mosley had used the challenge unsuccessfully in the first quarter so he couldn’t use it to challenge an obvious out of bounds on Portland late in the fourth quarter. Portland didn’t score on that ensuing possession, but it would’ve saved the time.

  19. treadwater23

I’m laughing cause fans get mad when Mose doesn’t use his challenge early or doesn’t play Houstan and he did both and people are pissed. Good.

Also lost in the “absolutely no nuance but being angry” discourse on Magic reddit is that Lillard has gone to the line 16 times before Houstan fouled him late. It was a silly foul but if we had a “Lillard stopper” on the team, he wouldn’t have 16 free throws already. We’ve seen absolutely bad fouls from everybody on the team, and Houstan I would actually consider a solid defender for being so young.

  20. Mangos4Lyfe

At least the Bulls lost again tonight. Their pick is looking juicy lol

  21. Turk0luu

Decent game overall, refs again are complete ass but it is honestly expected at this point. If WCJ is out Goga definitely needs to see more play time. Caleb made a rookie mistake, good chance even if there was no contact the whistle would of flown either way based on the way the refs were calling shit for Dame.

We really just needed one guy on the bench to step up and we’d have been fine.

  22. LR_Mango

Good news. Now we beat the Bucks to keep that 1w 1l steak!

  23. Independent-Impress7

I disliked the call but I hated that challenge. It just wasn’t a good challenge and Mose deserves criticism for it although I don’t believe coaching is what lost us the game.

That was a horrible foul in the end but that was a lot to ask of Houston to guard Dame when he was cooking all game. If only JI wasn’t made of glass smh

Adding Rebounding and three point shooting will get this team over the hump.

  24. Cup-And-Handle

How many games have we lost like this this year?

  25. RakutenRakaticMessi

I’m slowly getting tired of the nba

  26. Just call it pulling a Mosley. We’ve pulled quite a few of these.

  27. jurassicperiod

Not a big fan of Paolo’s shot selection at times. I guess they gave him the green light to iso and shoot long 2s? I’m not super concerned since he’s still a rookie, but too frequently holds the ball too long in my opinion.

  28. 5H4D0WF0X

Moe Wagner can’t be your center, I swear for every bucket he gets he gives up twice as much. Blazers driving to the rim with no fear getting easy layups. Moe is better at the PF in my opinion

  29. Tkainzero

Was a lot of fun at the game! Close game. Magic need more experience. This is going to happen when your 2 best players are a rookie and a 2nd year player.
