Terry Rozier recorded 22 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists for the Hornets, while Gordon Hayward added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the victory. Hamidou Diallo (23 points) and James Wiseman (23 points, 7 rebounds) combined for 46 points for the Pistons. The Hornets improve to 20-43, while the Pistons fall to 15-47.
