> Foster is the official who received 134 phone calls from disgraced referee Tim Donaghy between October 2006 and April 2007, as originally reported by FOX News. That was the same period during which Donaghy admitted to betting on NBA games. The report said that Donaghy called Foster more than any other ref and that he didn’t call any other official more than 13 times.
> The records also showed Donaghy making several calls to Foster on the days of games, generally for no more than two minutes.
> The report also said that when Donaghy called Foster, he mostly used the phone that he dedicated to gambling-related phone calls, and the phone calls stopped abruptly when Donaghy said he stopped gambling.

The over/under was 228.5 and Nuggets 6.5
The total was 231 and Nuggets by 5.
If we managed to foul the Nuggets at the end, they would’ve hit both those bets.

It’s mafia. They can openly mock you. What s going to happen to them. Anyways go raps!

Funny in the game thread even early on I mentioned it looked like the refs were trying to manipulate the score

I genuinely dont think this was an instance of securing an outcome for Vegas. I think this is a case inflated self importance mixed with total incompetnece.
Especially with Scotties ejection. Foster was hot headed and walking away from the interaction. Scottie says something throwaway and he turns around and marchs back to eject him. The sensitivity of a 7 year old school child.

Mark Foster’s betting last night:
Raps up after Q1 Raps up after Q2 Raps up after Q3 Denver wins.
I’m going to the raptors and a lakers on the 10th and am currently 50/50 if I bring a sign in with one blank side and write “Mark Foster bets on games” after halftime.
I’m get a 1yr or lifetime ban from Staples but I think it may be worth it.
For those not familiar, Donaghy was on a podcast series where he goes into how easy it is for refs to control a game without making up calls, or “cheating”. Make a couple early calls on the best scorer or defender, swing the game with FT calls late. And these guys could be paid by mob/big time bettors to nudge a game either way.
Also, the only reason Donaghy was caught was because the guy paying him ran his mouth while under surveillance. Not because the NBA did their own investigation, etc.

He was an accomplice and everyone knows it. That’s why he tossed Scottie instead of just issuing a tech. He took the truth personally.
Foster’s name gets thrown around A LOT in this
