The CHGO Bulls crew discuss whether the 2022-23 season has been a success or failure for Bulls forward Patrick Williams. Are we seeing enough development – or any development – from the former #4 overall pick? What will it take to get more out of Pat next season and beyond? Matt and Big Dave look at the numbers, and what factors are holding Williams back. Plus, Nikola Vucevic offered some very somber facts about the Bulls’ current situation with 17 games left to play. But did he sound like someone who’s given up? And the Bulls made a minor roster move, welcoming back Marquette product Justin Lewis on a two-way contract.

Players getting better when they leave the bulls just might mean we have a shitty coaching staff or at least they arent motivating the youngins wnough, they dont trust em
Pat's durability is a huge success on its own. He doesn't pass my eye test. Seems lost and unsure with no instinct for the game.
I think being left hand dominant shooting with the off hand messes with his head.
The narrative of Lauri Markannen, or even Wendell Carter, etc leaving is such a sheep thing. These were actual college players who were good. Patrick Williams has no pedigree, zero intensity in his eyes, he's lost out there. Just cut him loose. He doesn't come close to passing the eye test. Was a stupid pick to begin. Cut your losses and get players who aren't afraid and that have intensity.
I feel you, Big Dave!! Being a “realist” is just a better way to accept quitting…
This is Pats second year. I’m not counting 17 games of an injured year as his second year. Next year tho, I need him to look more like Coby as far as comfort on the court.
Trade Demar & we’ll find out
10.2ppg as a 5th option is very solid especially when he’s shouting under 10 shots a game, I don’t see this team ever being contenders so I think we should rebuild and then pat will really start to develop even more than he has
I agree the only why Pat is going to develop is trade Demar & slide Pat to his natural position which is SF
It's the glass half empty mentality for Vuc which says a lot about him. He's that guy whose just going to do his job nothing more. Demar's like that also. I am 68 years old and every game I watched I wanted my team to win! To play hard! I never thought of my team as not having a chance against any team. Big Dave you're not as old as I am but you've got that to. Matt! Stop yourself you, you, you hat thrower you! You're a Bulls fan fo' sho' and you know that's a defeatist attitude! You know Vuc needs to be Marined slap for showing signs of weakness! Jordan would've thrown a basketball at his head and would've told him to man up! I'd rather have 5 Devontes of different heights than one realist opening his weak mouth! Go Bulls!
