The TNT crews reaction to our game annoys the hell out of me. The thunder put together an amazing team win, with giddey having an insane night and all they could talk about was Curry. TNT is so biased and honestly clueless when it comes to teams outside of the Lakers and whatever team KD is on.

Their audience isn’t really basketball fans, they’re there for the dummies who don’t know anything about the sport. They’re gonna talk about Curry because that’s who people are going to know
The lady on the Bally sports postgame was really good. Can’t remember her name but she had great attention to detail. Mentioned how clutch it was for Shai to get that tip after the review.
Warriors has a huge fanbase, an established championship record…it is what it is. I can understand about being frustrated, but we’re not going to get much buzz from the casual broadcasts until we start winning playoff series

OK, but look at it from a national perspective: the defending champs had an HOF player who dropped 40 but lost to the 10th place team. Yes, SGA is an all-star, but until he gets those Hulu commercials like Ja Morant (I know, I know) he’s going to be a local/hardcore all-star and not a NATIONAL all-star. Sadly, nobody outside of local/hardcore fans know Giddey or the rest of our team either.
Makes sense how it was presented that way. In a few years though when the Thunder are back to being a consistent playoff team with potentially MULTIPLE all-stars….I’d be highly offended. Today? I’m happy we finally broke that damn losing streak to the Warriors.

To be fair, they are a finals contender/defending champs and we aren’t this season. That being said a little more attention would be nice, but it is understandable that they don’t give much time to a team outside the play-in.
The NBA sucks at marketing their product, and they’re surprised to see that ratings are declining every year.

i hear them give props to SGA all the time when the thunder pop up. Or even when they talked about all stars they talked a lot about SGA.
I mean, of course they will talk about curry more, he is one of the most favorite players in the NBA and one of the best to ever play the game. he deserves a lot more praise than someone who just got into the league a year ago and is doing decent for a rookie, but is still fresh and hasnt accomplished anything.
Give them a year or two, and as long as these guys keep improving and reaching their potential, dont worry. A LOT of people will be talking about them.
When we were good nobody said they talk about us but not the team that just beat us. It’s the way it goes, when we get better they will talk.
