Fred is a G for speaking out like that. I guarantee he’s earnt some massive respect from his peers in doing so.

Some officiating crews will just straight up not let you play defense, especially the more novice ones who tend to be extremely by-the-book with foul calls.

The sad thing about officiating. This is the highest caliber league therefore the officiating should already be top notch. The league can hire more or train more up and coming referees but then it will just be a cycle of bad officiating. Maybe you can punish officials but that’s assuming for obvious bad calls. However, I’m not sure there is an overall easy solution.
