Christian Wood is a good player that should be playing 45 minutes a night. It helps to have size on the floor cause it makes it easier for the 6 foot players. Even if that 7 footer has 0 points Their 0 points and 9 rebounds with 4 challenges, is just as important as Jordan's 30. But Christian Wood is going to get 30 points and 15 rebounds with 3 blocks and 10 challenges. Jordan still needed that muscle up front to make it easier on him and to keep guys off of him. Sign Boban and it will improve this team to about the 4 seed and they will win the first round. Not saying Boban will win the Championship but he will help with size to make it easier for all the players on the Mavericks.
The answer is NO — kyrie has never led a team on his own to great success — Cavs, Celtics, Nets — why should that change with the defensively challenged Mavericks?

Its not Kyrie or Luka, its the supporting cast around them thats not very good. Also, Kidd sucks at proper rotation with players like Hardy and Wood. They get little to hardly any mins. Javele McGee is being hardly used and Powell is not the answer yet he gets mins, for what? This team is terrible around Luka and Kyrie Im sorry. Im not hating, just speaking facts.
I am sorry to say, but with current roster I don't see them to even make the playoffs, even with 1 or 2 superstars, that's how bad it is. I just don't see they can be better and results confirm that.
