Whenever the next star comes available to trade Dorts contract is actually perfect to help get matching contract numbers to get that trade done, along with obviously a shitload of picks. So far the thunder rebuild only miss the playoffs 2times and was not a top 3 worst record in those 2 years but got enough talent to be one of the beat young core.
The thing that can take SGA’s game to the next level is hitting more 3s. If he becomes a 50/40/90 guy, shooting five to six 3s a game… that could take him to a future MVP candidate.
The league should limit how many first round picks a team can aquire if they want to try and stop (or slow) tanking. A "Modern Day Sam Hinkie"? The league set out a hitman to stop that but Hinkie and the 76ers were just being made an example. Look half the teams, they don't try to win. Just limit how many lottery picks you can own within 'X' amount of years
