In this clip, OPJ’s defender didn’t help on Poole’s layup attempt at the rim.

If this was Draymond, Looney, or JK they’d either already be in the paint and their man would easily be able to help.

If they were on the perimeter, their man would sag off of them and help at the rim and completely ignore them.

I know nobody like three guard lineups but without Wiggins there is no other choice.

If you play two of Draymond/Looney/Kuminga with anybody but Steph/Klay/Donte then the spacing goes to shit and the offense stalls out.

Last season, our best lineups were with OPJ at the four next to Draymond. That’s the lineup we used in games 4-6 of finals and won every single one of them. Obviously, I also miss last season’s GP2, but I miss OPJ even more.

This is why Kerr keeps trying to trot out the four guard line up.

  3. Draymond and Looney is +10.8 this season. +4.8 last regular season, +14.6 playoffs. +13.6 in 2020-21.

    Facts?

  4. Otto is definitely missed, as well as Beli, stretch bigs who are serviceable on defense (Yes, Beli had his defensive moments last playoffs)

OPJ was a perfect fit. Hopefully PBJ can fill the same role soon

I wonder how people got to the rim in the 90s or 80s. Wasn’t because they had a 7 footer who could shoot 3s

  7. People didn’t quite appreciate Otto and Beli enough. Having 2 tall guys that stretch the floor is just perfect for our system

Don’t try to blame this on Kummy

  9. Dray is not usually in the paint. He’s out giving dribble handoffs/setting screens.

Where is the guy who did a post saying Lamb was better than Otto for this team? Where is his dumbass? Otto’s mere presence on the court was more valuable than anything Lamb can provide.

“this is facts”? I can’t take that headline seriously.

The main issue is that our defense is garbage.

  13. The Warriors don’t have a scoring problem. Anything to do with offense is irrelevant right now. Let’s focus on why the opposing team consistently has their best shooting game of the season every time they play us.

It must be early — I thought that was PBJ.

  15. I agree with this. People saying the defense is the problem are right, but the offense is a problem too. PBJ can fill that OP role if he would crash the boards better and play more intense defense and use those long ass arms to harass players.
