also we need to get some snipers real bad next year still cant believe we traded huerter for nothing love the bey addition tho

  2. pakattak

Aside from a few tough Tatum 3s, almost every outside shot for the Celtics was wide open. That can’t happen.

  3. I expect the league to rescind Trae’s technical foul. Whether my expectation will be met is a different issue.

  4. Driftrift

Just wanted to stop in and say fuck Marcus Smart. Besides that, fun game even tho we lost.

Tough loss, missing Bogi+AJ being cold was a key factor to us falling behind in the 2nd quarter, but also Boston was shooting lights out, a lot of them being open 3s. Game like this had no defense on either side, so hard to win when the other team outshoots you hitting 20 threes.

All that being said, loved the effort, putting up 125 on a back to back is a great offensive effort. Trae still being a pest on defense, and I am thrilled that he’s coming back into form after a not-so-great start. DeAndre Hunter has also continued to show progress, and Sadiq has proven to be a fantastic pick-up. JC overall has been a net positive, but him getting his 3 point shooting back is a big key to us taking a leap as a team, in my opinion.

Overall, though I wish our record was better, I am very happy through our recent wins as well as losses.

  6. yo I get they’re kids but these celtics fan need to stop trying to get in the postgame show lol

  7. Boraismybae

Murray lookin like Malcolm Delaney as of late with all these mid range bricks

  8. blingera

tough loss. i know we’re beyond moral victories at this point but we played a great game. our defense wasn’t great but idk if it was as bad as Boston shooting 50% from 3, maybe i’m naive. also refs fucked us down the stretch.

idc, i love everyone on this stupid ass team and i hate that every loss or mishap is a chance for somebody to get crucified on this sub. we wouldn’t be shit without Trae. Dre is good. and i think JC is a mental hurdle away from being back to what he once was.

  9. TheKing012

good effort. however, as I predicted we’re destined to be in the play-ins. still not sure if I’d prefer us just losing and not having to see us potentially get beat in the first round, or just roll the dice and see what happens. because right now we lack consistency and haven’t played nearly enough games with Synder to get anywhere

  10. ahend1999

welp…who would we rather…boston or milwaukee…..personally i wouldn’t mind being the underdog and taking a top seed down again 😜😜😜😜💪💪💪

  11. Professional_Yak7963

deandre and djm need to be putting more pressure on the rim these midrange shots as 90% of your shot diet aint it

  12. Aardvark-0001

AJ … we need him to start getting back to his past self … he looked shaken tonight. With the dnps the confidence gets shook but he needs some mentoring to get back in. We can’t always be one injury away from collapsing

  13. kerfufflest

Proud of the effort despite the result. I honestly expected worse, this is growth considering how far down we were.

  14. ATLiensinyosockdraw

I know we’ve tried to trade him for 35 years already, but I just don’t see how JC has a role on this team moving forward. The dude literally forgot how to shoot.

  15. YeeezusWept

I think I hate every (relevant) eastern conference team except Milwaukee and Cleveland

  16. BigSlimSu

We looked soft letting Marcus smart body slam Trae, that’s the franchise.

  17. TheDonGilly

Another game, another opportunity for our front court to rack up 3 assists

  18. Chessh2036

Playing Boston on a back to back is tough. Real tough. Loved the fight though, all the way to the end our guys fought. Snyder already making an impact. Dejounte Murray disappointed tonight, Trae needed his own Jaylen Brown and he didn’t get it. Also Smart is a little bitch. Miami lost so that’s great news. We move.

  19. HaterSlayerr

Murray can’t be our #2 and only score 10-15 points in a game regularly. When he scores 25 we win most games but he’s a 15 points two nights, 30 points one night guy and it’s annoying.

  20. Professional_Yak7963

damn sucks they didnt play grant williams maybe wouldve won if they had lol

  21. ADudeHasNoName

    OO > Capela?

Hes been out minuting (and playing) him for a few games now

We should look for a trade in the offseason where someone takes JC and we give them Capela for it. 2 birds with one stone. Could probably also get picks back

  22. kerfufflest

This might shock people, but JC and Hunter were the only two starters with positive +/- tonight. Obviously some noise in that, but they contributed to key stops against what was otherwise a free-wheeling Boston offense. Particularly notable since Capela was -20, so you can’t credit him with covering other’s cracks. Okongwu on the other hand played more minutes and was a team high +12 with 5 offensive rebounds.

  23. ahend1999

if heat are 8th and we’re 7th, they still have home court advantage right?

  24. OfferOk8555

Tough fought back to back against a real contender. No point in doom posting. At least Miami lost to Orlando.

  25. Professional_Yak7963

schedule now is light if the hawks are serious we go on a win streak starting monday against the wolves

  26. pk-pk-pk

We might catch Miami in 7th but there’s no way we’re gonna catch the knicks in 6th. Play in it is then.

  27. If we the 8 seed we only gotta win 1 of the 2 play in games right?

  28. trofesh195

Collins is simply not a good nba player anymore. If he’s shooting 25% from three from now on he’s arguably not a starter level player in this league. They should have traded him at the break. I honestly think losing him would be addition by subtraction. Jalen is flat out better than him.

  29. Boraismybae

Maybe we need to take a page out of Lloyd Pierces book and stop running plays for JC

  30. Professional_Yak7963

can we bamboozle the nets into giving us mikal bridges for JC and some picks

  31. Professional_Yak7963

trae young feeding families since his rookie year what a player

  32. childishgames

I think Collins needs to move to the bench and definitely get off the court in crunch time minutes.

At this point we need to move on and if he turns things around back to his form from 2-3 seasons ago, we can treat it as a bonus.

  33. WubblyJubblyX

    Just some thoughts:
    1. Holy fuck collins that was bad
    2. Dejounte needs to step up a bit more. He’s been underperforming a lot recently.
    3. These refs need to be unemployed

Unfortunate but I’m not surprised… let’s rebound on Monday vs the wolves…

  34. badlilbadlandabad

The Celtics are fucking good. Every time we started to cut into the lead they answered. Just a tough loss to a top 3 team.

    Also fuck you Marcus Smart.

  35. EchoedTruth

Fuck the the Celtics, those refs, Boston, the entire northeast and Marcus Smart.

  36. Numerous_Badger9583

Dejounte needs to step up. Don’t forget that we traded 3 first round picks for him. 3! He has once in a blue moon games where he makes me say “that’s why we traded for him” while he been consistently mid this season. He should be averaging 21 per game if we want to win or atleast play better on ball defense ffs. Bro is an overrated defender, great in passing lanes but gets cooked every other possession.

AJ hopefully doesn’t sucks this much as we go on. He hasn’t played in a while but he sold hard just as Dejounte.

JC can’t not close out games. He needs to come off the bench or not be on the court when there is 5 min lefts in a close game. Bro ability is brick every wide open 3 is killing us. Bey should be playing in these last 5 minutes

  37. EuroStepJam

Trae Young in his presser when asked about reffing: “I’m not going to Fred Van Vleet these people”

  38. Renverseur

Saddiq really should be shooting MOOOOOORE than 9 shots. Cmon bruh

  39. Professional_Yak7963

its actually hilarious how the mavericks are going through the exact same thing we went through last season, they’ll give kidd another season and then fire him but I’m sure luka the white savior will not get the coach killer label or reprimanded by the media

  40. Chessh2036

Hawks social media tweeted the Luka (everyone acts tough when they’re up) quote and that’s a weird thing to tweet considering we lost, right? Like I love our social guys but you tweet that if you come back. We’re getting roasted for tweeting that after a L and quoting a dude we traded away. Curious what you guys think?
