  1. For the most part I liked Nembhardt's game. I liked how he sucked it up and closed the show after another woeful 3rd quarter.

I'm DONE with Buddy Hield. This game is who Buddy Hield is for the most part.

The reserved played absolutely outstanding. Hill and Johnson were great. Smith looked like A seasoned vet. I was DREADING Carlisle putting the starters back in outside Jackson.

Buddy Hield first four possessions. Turnover/turnover/ 2 easy gimme free throw distance misses/ ALMOST turnover but Nembhardt saved it. And He was non-chalant about it. Zero concern whatsoever even though this team has blown leads all 4th quarter. Then after the Game unlike Tyrese who would be introspective and disappointed with his performance, he was all smiles racing to give everyone on the opposite team hugs even though they literally meaning him and complete garbage Duarte almost blew a 12 point 4th quarter lead in 4 minutes.

Duarte after he checked back in with 4 minutes to go clanged a 3 pointer and turned it over. James Wiseman I believe bricked a wide open 3 or it would have been a 3 point game with 14 seconds to go.

Nesmith was brutal terrible as was Duarte pretty much the entire game. I hope Nesmith isn't another Buddy in that he's like a 8 year old kid that can't play unless Tyrese is on the floor.

Buddy lovers in these comments will point out that he made 4 3 pointers I believe. Definitely none in the 4th and I don't think he hit any in the 3rd either.

Literally ZERO chance Pacers ever win a playoff series with Buddy Hield playing 30+ minutes a game. It's not a coincidence he's never played on a winning team his entire career and the Kings are like 13 games over ,500 literally the very next seaaon after they traded him. I'm sorry to all the Buddy Hield lovers but he's a losing basketball player and there is a reason not even the woeful dreadful lakers with Westbrook didn't even want Him. He was that bad those last 5 minutes and his non chalant I don't care if I was the main reason the team blew a double digit lead in 4 minutes made Me check out.

Nwora can do what Buddy does. Buddy and Duarte literally have zero chemistry playing together. Man I'm DONE with Buddy Hield

  2. None of these stats/positives mean much against: a) this Pistons team, b) these forwards (especially Marvin/Wiseman combo). They beat an abysmal team with a horrid frontline. Congratz.

  3. The game Myles doesn't play Pacers outrebound the other team by like 14.

Jackson had 6 offensive rebounds and Jalen had 3. When is the last time if ever Myles has had 6 offensive rebounds in A game? Jackson was going against two number two overall picks In Wiseman and Bagley. Wiseman played good though. I was loving that matchup. I hope It happens again tomorrow.

Since you were at A wedding and must not have watched the game based on your comments. Nesmith and Duarte were absolutely terrible. Buddy Hield night as well had been wearing a piston uniform in the 4th quarter. Buddy Hield single handedly almost lost a double digit lead with 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter with turnovers that led to fast break layups. He almost had another one if Nembhardt didn't save it. I honestly don't think Pacers would have won if he turned over that 3rd time. He was all smiles and laughter after the game hugging everyone on the pistons bench. He doesn't care. He made 4 3 pointers. That's a good game in Buddy's eyes. Fans that only read box scores will think he played ok. He was beyond brutal. He was embarrassingly terrible.

  4. People saying this win doesn't mean anything when just 6 days ago they lost to the Spurs and Myles had 3 rebounds. They lost to the 3rd string Nets earlier in the year A game that Myles fans selectively forget. Brooklyn had more offensive rebounds then Pacers had total. I think Myles had 3 rebounds that game too If I'm not mistaken. Lost to the Spurs twice this Year. Was outplayed the entire 4th quarter to the Rockets before Haliburton heroics in overtime.

But yeah, this Detroit win doesn't mean anything even though If it weren't for our 36 year old vets that got a double digit lead in 4th quarter after the starters completely blew a 18 point lead and was losing at the end of 3rd quarter. Yeah this Pistons win doesn't mean anything.

I have nothing against Myles its his fans that pick and choose which games to talk about and act like the absolute fact that he's a poor rebounder doesn't matter. Every offensive category Myles has stepped up huge this year. Always been an elite shot blocker. But bring up the absolute fact he's a poor rebounder and his die hard fans get amnesia or act like these games this year didn't happen. It's not the end of the world and doesn't mean he's not a good player, He's just a very sub par rebounder. He's average at absolute best.

  5. I think it's almost a given that you trade Danny T in the off-season. Maybe you send him and a 2nd somewhere for a future 2nd. Can't waste a roster spots and 9 mil on another big who doesn't play.

I think TJ is the only other player rostered next season that they should consider trading. As you stated Andrew is a natural point and he could take over the bench point duties. I'm not sure TJs value, but if you can get a future pick or a cheap young forward in return for him(and maybe a 2nd) why not.
