I would love to see the ping pong balls fall our way and pick up Wemby. I think under the Wizards development staff, we could develop him into a nice rotation side piece, good for 15 solid minutes a night (20 if he can avoid foul trouble). In time we could even see him become a good 12 and 6 guy; maybe net us a couple of second rounders down the line.

Heās the only lifeline out of this mess. He would be a seamless, *seamless* fit on this team and the simple bail-out solution to our disgusting roster construction. He could single-handedly elevate every sorry player on this roster – allowing Brad, Kuzma, KP, and Gafford to be finishers rather than creators.
We could finally stop looking at 10th seed and start dreaming about the 5th seed again.
