Detroit Pistons New Starting Lineup Snaps Losing Streak, Beats The Indiana Pacers On 313 Day

The Detroit Pistons were forced into starting only one big due to Marvin Bagley III injury and it paid off for them, as they finally snapped their league-leading losing streak against the Indiana Pacers at Little Caesars arena. Does this game show the Pistons need to stop forcing the idea of starting two-bigs and buy into running a more modern starting lineup?

  1. Wiseman is showing me that he just needs playing time. I believe that Duren is the future. We know what we have in Duren. It's just the last few games of the season. We need to know how good Wiseman can be playing against other starting NBA bigs. Also remember we are tanking. Now let's be real Indy didn't have their main players, no Turner,Mathurin or Haliburton. This lineup today wouldn't have won against those players. Yes they play hard. I've been saying most of the season that I want young guys to get playing time but I want us to lose. I'm looking to the future. We need one more piece to the puzzle. The talent we have with that one more piece can be a championship contender in the next few years. If Wiseman can develop an outside shot he could play the 4 with Duren at the 5 and the lane wouldn't be clogged. We won't know how good this team can be until everyone is healthy and back together. Wiseman is only 21. Let's see if he can get better over the summer. Working on his defense and outside shooting. The young man is very athletic. I'm glad the Rockets won too, so we still have the worst record.

  2. It's obvious that EO will help the team but the problem is keeping him means you have to get rid of Stewart… Otherwise it's too rundant

  3. When it comes to the starting center role. I dont think it matters right now. They are both playing same minutes. Next season they will really have to make a decision. But I agree they are a good pair to keep together bc they are different. Duran is solid strong and fundamentally sound on defense… Wiseman is longer a little better on offense and quicker up and down the court. I think they make a good 1-2 punch.

  4. They just shot well, it happens. everyone plays the same way the 1 in and 4 out is old as dirt. It's like cards play the hand u have. I like Duren but watch Atlanta they have the best P&R in the league and have a 28ppg player and they're under 500 so why copy that? I'm for Kuzma and Cam Johnson in FA with Duren u have an athletic 6'10 front line with Cade and maybe Burke's at SG and Cade at point, then build the team around that. U have a big athletic defensive line up that can play anyone🤔

  5. Amaruji is a far better player then Diallo and Boj and Bag. Find a way to convert those 3 guys to a solid veteran wing who can shoot lights out and love to pass the ball.

  6. Wiseman’s potential is AD or Embiid while Duren’s potential is Dwight Howard so who do the Pistons supposed to start🤷🏽🤷🏽🤷🏽

  7. I think he's a lot better than some of our other bench players and we shouldn't put him in the same category as Braxton Key

  8. Sorry wrong
Wiseman is a baby AD and has the highest ceiling
    Stop being emotional
    Clearly better stop it 😂 😂😂 25:52

  9. Wiseman has a higher ceiling than Duran but Duran is more put together rn than wiseman so he’s a lil better rn but it’ll take wiseman some time to get there but he’s a star fr

  10. We need to find 5 more additional rotational players, who can bring chemistry, durability, defense, three point shooting, toughness, athleticism, good free throw shooter, Here is my number ranking based on current player projection #1 Eugene Omoruyi #2 Stewart, #3 Livers #4 Bojan 5# Burks, #6 Killian 7# RJ Hampton 8# Gabriele Procida super athletic 40 percent 3 and defense

  11. I like Omoruyi a lot. He plays with energy, physicality, and intelligence. While we can dismiss it as a small sample size, we need to also keep in mind he has played this way in Dallas, OKC, and in his G-League stints. He's tough guy who knows how to play and I believe he has played well enough to compete for a spot. I like Omoruyi as a rotation player more than Bags. He gives us better better defense, rebounding, and shooting. I am starting to like him ahead of Livers (only slightly) and Hami. As for the Wiseman and Duren conversation, Wiseman hasn't had any real opportunities since he's been in the league. The Pistons are giving him his reps, providing him with consistent playing time in meaningful moments. It gives them a chance to assess the gaps and weaknesses in his game so that they can develop him. Wiseman starting over Duren allows us to safely and slowly ease Duren back into play. Duren has proven he a BEAST.

  12. I’m a Thunder fan, and I hope Eugene sticks around for y’all. He was a lot of fun for us, and I really hoped he was going to stick around. He was on a 2 way, and Presti gave him a contract before he was cut. He did great for the team and he played well within the system. He is a decision maker, pass dribble or shoot, and isn’t a ball stopper. Hope he found a home with y’all.

  13. Ku what your saying isn't true that's just your style and opinion Cleveland is the perfect example and it's called coaching you have to know what the HELL your doing as a coach neither one of Cleveland bigs are floor stretchers they just know how to play with them PERIOD it's really simple know how and when to play your bigs against certain teams …WE NEED SHOOTERS then youll see how to play with our big men homie

  14. DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE ….KU no one in the NBA plays defense anymore homie with a few exceptions but besides those few very very few players in the league play defense lol now team defense is something different but there are no lock down defenders on teams it doesn't exist anymore.

  15. I've been saying EO was good and people weren't agreeing now they see the potential I like him in the regular rotation going forward. Asking if he's a keeper is a dumb question right now when the Pistons clearly need someone like him.

  16. Emmanuel reminds me of a young pj tucker. If we don't sign him long term another team will and we'll have to deal with his lock down defense unfortunately.
Another reality is either stew or bagley gotta go if Wiseman can't start at the 4. That means he'll have to come off the bench and neither stew or bagley can play the 3.

  17. EO is not on a hot streak. He understands the game well which doesn’t go away and he can score in a variety of ways..just not jump shooting. As to Duran, r e l a x. Wiseman and Duran both got exactly 24 minutes so Duran is getting time. Also Duran was getting a little beat up prior to wiseman so health wise it would be good to give the rookie a break as the nba season is much longer than the college season. Keep giving Duran minutes and preserve his health and call it a successful year for him.

  18. EO is doing well but defenses haven’t figured him out yet. We will have to see how he does once guys start learning his moves.
