According to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski, Ja Morant has entered a counseling program in Florida. The Memphis Grizzlies and league are continuing to look into Morant’s recent behavior after he flashed a gun on Instagram Live. There is no timetable for his return to the NBA this season. How about the NBA create a “Big Brother” program…Where they take retired NBA vets and match them with NBA lottery pick rookies…and these NBA vets are paid to mentor and aide them…Check on them weekly or bi-weekly until their fourth NBA year…This would not just be great for the rookies but also for the retired vets as they can earn them some money too….Would Ja still have be in this situation if he had Horace Grant mentoring him since his rookie year? Something to think about
