Unreal. Man if Mavs can get Kyrie on board with a tank this year with promise of new contract I’m all for it. I just want them to say something that finalizes the tank like Luka and Kyrie being shut down for year due to injury. But you can’t half measure it, we probably need to lose 11/13 games left to ensure we get in top 10.
Get everybody rested and healthy and come back full force, we only have a small window to make a run. This spurs game will just be more experience for our young guys.

I’m feeling real pessimistic about the Mavs right now. Worried we’ll either lose in the play-in or miss it completely. Won’t be low enough to keep our pick. Kyrie leaves after trading a pick, Doe, and Spence for him. Then we’re proper fucked.

Honestly if he is at all injured I don’t want him to risk anything or slow down recovery for a game against the Spurs. If we can’t win even without him and Luka to the Spurs then tanking is a real possibility and that loss can start the tank. On the other hand if we win, this gives us some momentum and Kyrie the rest he needs to get a revenge game against the Lakers then two days rest before Memphis too start our push for the 4th seed.
Kyrie better give the Mavs a bit of a discount with all the damn games he keeps missing
