[Lewenberg] Nick Nurse on O.G. Anunoby’s case for NBA All-D: “I’m not sure who’s as versatile, period. And who’s as effective, even on the winning teams. He’s certainly an all-defensive team player in my mind, for sure, if not the winner of the [DPOY] award.”

definitely not getting DPOY but I’m hoping he can squeeze in if Raptors finish the regular season on a good note.

edit: just looked at previous results it’s 2 guard spots. 2 forward spots. and 1 center.

so I think JJJ and Mobley will take the forward spots. OG on second team maybe

Our Players won’t be winning accolades until we actually start winning games smh

    > even on the winning teams

    Nick is Team Tank confirmed

  4. Just for some context on the difficulty of winning DPOY while playing on a team with a losing record: David Robinson is the only DPOY winner in NBA history to win the award on a sub-.500 team. He earned it in 1986 when the Spurs went 35-47.

Mark Eaton won it in ’85 for the 41-41 Utah Jazz.
