Frustrating loss. Nets collapse in the 2nd half, lose bad to Thunder

The Nets got off to a hot start against the Thunder with Mikal Bridges and Spencer Dinwiddie leading the way. But the second half was something of a nightmare and the Thunder completely took over. The Nets couldn’t stop OKC from scoring in the paint and were completely manhandled on both sides of the ball to close this game out.

Doug Norrie and Adam Armbrecht breakdown the Nets/Thunder matchup as Brooklyn has been riding a hot streak of consistent performances on both ends of the court.

  1. Obviously tired legs. 17 TOs, shot under 30% from 3, missed 9 FTs. Might have been a good idea to give more minutes to the bench.

  2. I have no idea why Jaque does not give the bench more minutes. It's horrible.

  3. Growing pains, usually, aren't pretty. Sometimes the most valuable lessons are learned from them. The Nets will learn from their losses and improve.

  4. Agree with all your points guys. If they hit half the wide open 3s they missed in the 1st half would have been a 20+ point lead…not sure why sumner didn't play would have been the perfect sub in for dinwiddie drive downhill and yuta for DFS who was ice cold tonight

  5. I would like to see the Nets attack the paint more….sometimes it seems like they are just passing the ball around the perimeter and taking 3s.

  6. JV is starting to be like thibs with how much he's playing the starters. Then again most of them just had minutes restrictions on a back to back not too long ago

  7. I do disagree with Adam. Ben Simmons will not mess up anything Yes he does fit in with his team. You basically have one other person that can play in the post and that's clax and pass out of the post and he's a better passer and I agree with Doug. The rotation is too short and I think most of the losses is because of that

  8. And by the way, I think I have to remind people a healthy Ben Simmons is better than most of the people you have on this roster

  9. Success seems to be connected with action.
successful people keep moving. They make
mistake but they don't quit. The stock market
has plenty of opportunities to earn a decent
payouts, with the right skills and proper
understanding of how the market works.

  10. Kind of takes away from the Nuggets win if you get creamed by OKC. Pretty much every player who played had an inefficient and poor shooting night including bridges. Maybe they all stayed up too late watching Creed and eating candy. Time to come home.

  11. Good game to play Cam Thomas. Seems like that was the plan going in then idk what happened.
