celtics always get bailed put by the refs when we have momentum to overtake them

  2. wsbull_35

What’s the controversy with that Embiid 6th foul? Tatum does it like 20x a game.

  3. BigMeatyClacker

didnt get to watch the game. was McDaniels a DNP or is he banged up?

  4. PensiveinNJ

Stressful game, we had some real stretches of dookie play. Embiid had some unreal shotmaking tonight and obviously 4 blocks to erase things at the rim. Other guys stepped up more as the game progressed, Shake Milton had some important moments.

  5. GOAT_Redditor

At this point all we should be asking of Tobias is to be a 15/8 guy with 50% shooting, that’s all we can hope for if he’s playing his best come playoff time. And yes it is very annoying that we keep bringing Tobias up, but pretty much everything else about the team is fantastic right now

  6. internetcommunist

Shit is about to be so insufferable about the sixers because of that overturned call

  7. paulyramone

Why the actual fuck is there confetti falling on the court in any game, let alone a midweek regular season game?

If a player slips and gets injured on a piece of that confetti your stadium is facing a bajillion dollar lawsuit

  8. azx568387508

Tobias is fucking inconsistent for sure. But what makes me hate him so much is he literally does nothing else when he can’t shoot well.

  9. SquashForDinner

Biggest sour point this game is the turnovers. This could’ve been a stomp in our favor if not for some really sloppy passes and dribbling.

  10. sodmoraes

It would be a shame if Embiid never wins a MVP. Jokic and Giannis are great players but both already have 2 mvps. Embiid carreer deserves one too, and a nba first team selection.

  11. Neat-Confidence5556

not to be a hater but cavs are not as good as I thought. allen being out isn’t that consequential. embiid averages 30, 15 and 5 against him. if we chilled with the turnovers that’s a 20+ point blowout. sucks we can’t play them in the 2nd round

  12. PensiveinNJ

Embiid grabbed 18 boards tonight. I tend to think his rebounding is down because he’s preserving his ankle/general health. Obviously in the bigger games he is huge on the boards. He had a monster rebounding game against the Nuggets too. I expect in the playoffs you’ll see him gobbling them up.

  13. BearBait_

Realistically, if Butler asks out, would the sixers have any way to make a move to get him

  14. Badtrip9817

Have to say that third quarter 18-1 run was about as good really as I have seen us play both ends in a long, long, time. Really impressive, and dominant. We had them playing in quicksand, which reminded me of another third quarter sketch, that well, forget about it. But God that was some terrific basketball both ends of the court.

Also have to admit Joel got away with one big-time there. That was the kind of call guys named Bird and Jordan got their way. He didn’t quite get it his way as easily, but still, I thought he fouled Mobley honestly. I wanted it to be a flop, but it wasn’t, but thank goodness they overturned that call. Still highlights why you need an established big as Joel’s backup. We don’t win with either Reed or PJ at the 5 tonight if the call stands.

  15. stefanakiman

My faith in Tobias diminishes with each game. It’s a shame because he started off this season looking fairly competent.

  16. I really like Embiid got 18 rebound its huge! i hope he can got 10+ rebound in playoffs

  17. ApoliticalAth3ist

Joel pushed off lol. But then he started letting them score and we still won

  18. Asleep-Eggplant-6337

Watched the end of the Celtics Timberwolves game. The Celtics refs came out to work again.

  19. phiEagles52

If Nobley doesn’t flop harder than prime Marcus Smart, the call probably stands, but you just can’t reward that behavior without looking like a clown. Kudos for actually reversing It

  20. battletor7

Im not scared of the cavs if we see them in the post season. Not one bit

  21. PensiveinNJ

Embiid is about to pass Wilt’s 65/66 season and have the most PPG for a center since Bob Mcadoo in 74/75.

Unless he stumbles down the stretch it seems likely he’ll end up with the highest scoring season for a center in almost 50 years.
