With Jay on this one, I knew going into the game it was dumb to sit AD. Houston is a young team with players trying to make a name for themselves and they just beat the Celtics. The Lakers are still a top heavy team that can't afford to have both max players sitting out even after the trade deadline. And once the game started and I saw Vandervelt starting at center I knew they're done for

At this point of the season it should be a minute restriction on AD not load management. The west is wide open, but it won't matter if the in Lakers don't get in. AD could have played 25 min.
