Giannis is better had having top tier defensive guys like Jrue and Lopez. Imagine if Embiid had those guys (or at least a defensive 4 similar to Lopez)
If Embiid wins the chip this year going through Giannis and the Celtics, people will talk about him like they currently do Giannis, as the de facto best player on the planet. He’s gotta do the work though, Embiid definitely has the skills to do it. Right now Giannis just gets the benefit of the doubt because of his Finals MVP.

I think Giannis is maybe the only person that has a legit argument right now to be better than Embiid, and I Stan Embiid super hard.
Giannis is incredible on both sides of the court. Weāll see how his game ages, I think Embiid is actually āagingā really well because he has a really clean jump shot and doesnāt rely AS MUCH as Giannis in just bullying his way to the rim. I think Embiid has a much bigger bag of tricks.

OK, Iāll bite on this but tbh itās really splitting hairs to talk about which one is better.
Giannis is having a down season, shooting 3-6% worse from 2 point range compared to last 4 seasons. His ālowā 58.3 2pt% this year is still better than any season in Embiidās career.
If you watched the Bucks vs Celtics series last year, you can see his ability to just blow by the best perimeter defenders in the league. If a combo of Tatum, Smart, Brown, and Grant Williams canāt stay in front of him then no one can.
He makes up for his inability to shoot by using his threat as a ball screener to draw his defenders out to the perimeter where they just canāt stay in front of him, and once he gets going downhill heās probably going to score or get fouled.
