  1. Larry probably shot all his life and practiced everyday for most of the day. Basketball is all he had. The youngblood nowadays have too many distractions, clubs, drugs, alcohol, women, etc. Larry lives and breathes basketball.

  2. Ultimately, he's still a basketball player๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ. Unfortunately, we all gotta grow old๐Ÿ˜…

  3. Love to see him shooting around at his age now… You play at his level in the highest level league in the world your always going to have some decents skills

  4. I remember magic and bird came in as rookies and built a new basketball world order ..today there are no players like magic or bird.then came Jordan and the bulls.

  5. Peace ten 10 players on the court bird is definitely one of them period, simple and plain, and he fought every team in the league ๐Ÿ€โœŒ๏ธ

  6. The good NBA players KNOW what a fukin problem Larry was. Theyโ€™ll say โ€œ Damm, heโ€™s BIGGER than I thoughtโ€. โ€œHe doesnโ€™t MISSโ€. โ€œHe told me the play to me and scored in my face.โ€ โ€œHeโ€™d tell Casey Jones, โ€œjust give me the ball and everyone get out the fukin way.โ€
    Larry was HIMMMMM!

  7. A quick story. I played at Boston U in the 80โ€™s. We played a game at Boston Garden once. A day game. The Celtics gave us and our opponents ( Northeastern) tickets to the Celtics- Bullets game that followed ours. Me and my teammates sat behind the Celtics bench during warmups. Bird came out and took a rack of balls (about 15-20) and set up
around 5 feet beyond the NBA arc ( around 28 feet). He nonchalantly took the balls out of the rack , in his warmups while chatting with the trainer, and shot FLAT FOOTED from that distance and did not even touch the rim once. All dead swishes. To this day the most incredible shooting display Iโ€™ve ever seen. We all looked at eachother in utter disbelief.
He would annihilate the NBA if he played today with the spacing and lack of tough defense. Believe me.

  8. Knowing Bird's psyche, he probably was in gym clothes practicing his shot for an hour in another gym, then put on his suit and walked in on the team for maximum effect.

  9. Unfortunately in todayโ€™s world, all of Larryโ€™s trash talking would have gotten him canceled because heโ€™d be hurting too many feelings ๐Ÿ˜‚
