Trae is the only one here to make the 2nd round of the playoffs. Why is it so hard for him to get respect?

  1. It’s sad seeing how many “grown” men on Twitter were shitting on him for finger wagging Steph on the game winning steal last night. These folks need therapy. If it were Luka, SGA, or Ja, people would be like “hell yeah that’s hard af!” Smh

I don’t understand why we care so much.

I truly don’t understand it, there’s just this collective Trae hatred among NBA fans. People just seem to think he’s some foul merchant that plays cheap but it’s just more obvious bc he’s smaller. He’s no more prone to foul baiting than any other high volume player, but Trae gets bashed on because…? Why? It’s annoying and I can’t wait until it passes

not everyone likes your favorite player. who cares about this shit

  5. CallMePapi930

I think it’s because everybody wants to say he’s overrated so they just end up underrating him. Like there’s really no argument for Halliburton to be ranked over Trae

  6. They hate us cause they ain’t us. Simple as that. Stop giving clicks to imbeciles.

  7. YeeezusWept

Nba opinions are all about recency bias and whoever the media has been pushing recently, just get used to it

Most people overrated the Hawks supporting cast to discredit Trae. Out of this list the Pacers and Thunder have just as talented teams even when Hali came back the Pacers were still losing. People just choose to hate on Trea since he was drafted

  9. DripGodAirborne

Because he PLAYS NO DEFENSE, is SELFISH, and is a FOUL MERCHANT!

As a casual fan, he seems to be a poor leader. Could be the coaches, could be him, could be I have a shite assessment.

  11. hollow-ataraxia

Haliburton fooling people with volume assists

  12. DeAndreHunterMIP

SGA over Trae because of one regular season after being in the league for 5 years 🤡🤡🤡

  13. BoostMoblie

    He’s the smallest
Thats always the answer when talking to non-hawks fans

Trae gets disrespected because of why folks are looking the other way from Ja Morant right now. He doesn’t have a “respectable/likable personality” in the eyes of the rest of the league and the media. So sadly, he can average 28/10 for his whole career and unless he isn’t voted in by the fans outright, the coaches will look the other way when it comes to All-Star selections, and forget about All-NBA until Trae starts to mature.

Yeah I would say to them how many games are these supposed better options going to miss? This is the only year that sga has played this many games and he is only scoring more and yes his fg percentage is higher but he doesn’t really have a consistent outside shot but he has never averaged over 6 assists and doesn’t really rebound much more considering his size advantage. Haliburton is a good player just like sga but he’s proven nothing he’ll never be the offensive player that Trae is now and for all the people talking about defense Trae has a higher defensive rating and raptor than all but sga. Honestly at this point it’s just people being brainwashed by the media and nba sub on Reddit.

I’m starting to think dudes that are 6ft tall are pissed because they used height as an excuse why they couldn’t play college or pro.

He operates at a higher level; period.

in time we’ll silence them yet again
