Problem was the rebounding and white wasn’t helping. But Kornet wasn’t the answer. I bet we win that one if we played Blake in the 4th with his hustle.

Can people stop pretending Mazzula is even a decent coach? He has been awful in just about every aspect this year. With Ime this team is easily the first seed right now.

  3. crackdup

I duno if Joe is incompetent or just plainly lacks any coherent strategy, but his mismanagement of the team will fuck us up

  4. Ryan97CFC

Probably should’ve been in instead of Kornet, not like he was grabbing many boards anyway

  5. Beantown00

I mean we had to play a little bigger because Utah is huge. Can’t play both White and Brogdon there

This team is heading for a tragic first round exit. No grit, no discipline, no leadership. Just 12 fucking losers led by an incompetent coach who’s only coaching is to chuck more threes. Im so fucking over this

  7. I’ve tried to defend Mazzula this whole season but holy fuck he might be a total fraud. He’s actually one of these analytics robots with no feel for the game. How does White not play at all in the 4th!? How does Jaylen not get those last 2 looks!?

Good thing Joe will act as a tough guy with the media after the game but be afraid to tell the players how it really is.

Joe’s inexperience is gonna result in a first round loss. Should have run with Vogel for a year.

Can I get Brad back on the sideline at least? I swear Joe just forgets about players sometimes.

  11. TheFirstExecutioner

He’s literally just Brad 2.0 except without the genius inbounds plays. He doesn’t command the respect of the team and isn’t willing to be confrontational with them when they stink up the joint, an approach that was very successful last year.

So did JT essentially. Not sure why he stays out there. Looks like he doesn’t have the energy to compete at the end of these games. Misses layups. Misses everything. We need to rely on him in the post season? That’s bad news. Some solid runs this game went down with him on the bench since the energy level goes way up. He comes in and does the trot up the court thing and everyone sleeps.

  13. Nmilne23

After he was clearly the only one giving a shit at the end of the third there?

    Fuckin fade me

Whoever thought that making mazzula the permanent coach was a good idea should be launched out of the garden

  15. archarbor

The Jazz are a good team with a great big rotation, and we had neither of our centers tonight. The 62-49 rebound differential probably had more to do with the loss than Joe’s supposed incompetence.

  16. Pet_Sounds33

Is there any chance ownership lets Joe go this summer?

  17. Remember like a week ago when Joe publicly apologized for not playing White at the end of a game (I can’t remember which one).

This mf doesn’t know what he is doing

Bunch of crying casuals in the comments

This season is the opposite of the last. And this coach is not the answer after Udoka’s departure

  20. Geez everyone is just jumping on the Joe sucks bandwagon. It’s like everyone thinks Joe makes all of these decisions in a vacuum. We have Brad in the front office. Don’t you think these guys talk about strategy, rotations, etc.? They will figure it out! (I hope, lol!)

I love how much redditors think they know about coaching
