  1. The 3pt problem is just a basketball rules problem. Why would you make the easiest to get off shot in basketball worth more points? Sure it might be harder to make but it's also the shot hardest to defend because your not going at the defence. All that happened was people figured that out.

  2. Video game Dame. Logo Lillard. Dame Dolla. I feel like anyone that’s watched him is at least kinda rooting for him to win a title at some point

  3. I get the math equation, but have a harder and harder time watching the product. It’s all good when guys are making shots, but it becomes a clown show when teams are 4/25 from deep but just keep jacking them up. That’s just not fun to watch.

  4. Too bad D'Antoni never put any emphasis on defense like Steve Kerr. He could have a couple of chips right now. That 05 suns team was one of the most exciting teams I've ever watched.

  5. I like 3s but the game today is too dominated by them. Sometimes it just seems like a 3-pt shooting contest out there, instead of an actual basketball game. 🏀

At a minimum, they need to get rid of the ‘easy 3s’, aka the corner 22-footers. Move the line back in the corners, even though that means you gotta widen the court a little.

Would also not mind if the main part of the line got pushed back to 25 feet. The true shooters would still make ‘em at a high clip, but the pretend gunners would get exposed, and would maybe start to work on their midrange or post-up game more.

Basketball gets boring when everyone plays the same style, and that’s kinda what we’re heading towards. Won’t be long before every team is taking more 3s than 2s, and some will be taking way more. 😴

  6. The 1995 Rockets Championship team is the 1st team to be a true 3 point shooting team in the NBA history. The far difference is Rockets had that Beast Olajuwon in the middle.
Double team The Dream? Then kick it out to Robert Horry (stretch 4) Mario Elie, Sam Cassell, Vernon Maxwell, Kenny Smith, Matt Bullard, and not to mention Clyde Drexler SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH 🌊☄️💧🔥🚀

  7. They are over simplifying the math equation. You actually have to be able to make the 3s at 33% to make it work. This also doesn’t factor in the amount of free points at the line attacking the basket creates.

  8. Remember, you gotta shoot above 33% from 3pt to beat a 50% interior shot. Teams shooting 40% from 3 just ain't going to get that efficiency with their 2s, and they're better for it.

  9. It is the same at good parks now. You can’t win unless you shoot 3s. When the defense gets too strong, they just start shooting further and further back.

  10. My only complaint really is that it took the old skool bigs out of the game. There is less to watch because everyone from two through four are the same guy, with ones and fives being different builds but also having same game.

  11. Wow, great video! Huge fan but really a basketball junkie and this video was very informative. I am a 90s guy and the era of MJ. I am realizing the revolution I have seen in bball with the 3 and this video explained it perfectly, thanks.

  12. BS you can contest them three’s just like you contest the midrange lol players just don’t defend the three unless it’s Steph, Klay or Dame you don’t really see defenders flying out to the 3 they actually encourage opponents to shoot it rather than getting too the rim but at some point you have to put bodies on the wing & quit playing lazy defense
