Zach Lowe is an idiot. He just pops out whatever clickbait take he can think of.

I don’t understand how kicked balls could possibly be a bad thing. People cheer when passes are deflected out of bounds, it’s effectively the same thing.

We can only wish that he could leap that high up… He’d be the undisputed GOAT with those hops.

I normally like Zach lowe! he is one of the few people on ESPN who have defended jokic. But this ridiculous take on kicking the ball doesn’t make any sense why is it a bad thing to stop a lay up or a dunk on a pick and roll by kicking the ball and making the opposing team run the play over again.

I mean, I’ve been thinking about the kicked balls for a while before his write-up too. I don’t think it’s dirty, and I do think it has to do with how players his size have been more stationary compared to passing lanes, which have also been changing. (Of course I’m also biased.)
If the NBA really wants to reckon with guys who kick balls, though, let’s start with Dillon Brooks and Draymond.

Anyone who says kickballs need to be legislated out of the game has never played organized basketball and prolly doesnt know how to make a post entry pass
