We should all be excited for Hardy. This Mavs team even with Kyrie has no chance at ever competing unless Hardy and Green are able to become very solid starters. Green being a really good starter is probably his ceiling and that’s totally fine. Hardy has actual star ability, happy to have them both.

1. Luka proves that he can cooperate with an elite guard without question. The coop between Luka and Hardy makes me wet. 2. Hardy is learning fast as hell, unexpected.
Honestly, I don’t think Hardy can be a Brunson-type player, his vision is unlike Brunson’s (Brunson is a pure guard with elite scoring, while Hardy is an offensive guard with a bit of vision) But if you are talking about a 3rd ball handler from the bench, I believe Hardy can be our Jordan Clarkson. The next thing for Mavs is to find a big wing to cover the defense. So for me, this team must make playoffs to give the pick to Knicks and let us have the 2024-2028 picks back. This is for the trade.

Kyrie, Hardy, and Luka combined with a defensive 4 and 5 is a championship contender until kyrie gets old. If we can tank this year and pick up like Taylor Hendricks or trade the pick for like precious achiuwa + dereck lively we’d be set for a long time.

I would like to say he is the best 2nd rounder since Agent Zero but Joker was a 2nd also… Funny that a month ago people on here wanted Hardy to be a thrown in to get some trades done.
As bad as this season has become, I am starting to wonder if we might actually get lucky and Kyrie gets flipped for AD or a 3 way which gets us Jaylen Brown. A Luka, Jaylen, Jaden, Green foursome would break the NBA. Just need a Center which is what we have been saying about the Maves since 1981

Bro, that would be straight up amazing!!! I mean, imagine Luka Doncic and Jaden Hardy playing together on the Mavericks!!! That would be epic as hell! If that happens, then the Mavericks would definitely have a much better chance at winning the championship.
Jaden Hardy is one of the top prospects for the 2022 NBA Draft and his talent is insane. Pairing him with Luka Doncic would be a deadly duo. They could create some serious magic on the court and make some highlight reel plays that would go viral in no time!
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, fam. We gotta wait and see what happens in the upcoming draft. If the Mavericks do end up getting Jaden Hardy, then we can definitely start getting hyped up for the next season. For now, we just gotta cross our fingers and hope for the best.
