>Injured Net Ben Simmons still hasn’t started practicing fully yet, limited to individual work. And with just nine games left in the regular season, coach Jacque Vaughn hasn’t allowed himself to think about whether there is time for Simmons to get up to speed with his teammates even if he does get healthy.

>“That’s the great thing, is I don’t even think that far ahead. I don’t even complicate my life that way,” Vaughn said. “I’m concerned about [now]. If those questions present themselves, I’ll be more than willing to see how it fits with the group and answer them at that time. But I don’t want to look that far ahead.”

>”It is not with teammates, so I’ll say that piece of it. So, he hasn’t scripted with our group, our second group, first group, or anything of that nature,” said Vaughn, who said the injured point/forward hasn’t made any significant improvement or taken any notable steps in the past week.

>“Ben is in the same position he was the last time I talked to you, nothing further to comment on. I don’t think I can give you anything else. There’s been no … there’s been no nothing to add, really.”

He’s playing hoops with Lonzo on a farm up north 😢

  4. Stock_Perspective_99

Just 2-3 months ago nets fans were hyping him up like he was a star again

  5. SonicdaSloth

no matter how this ends up for the Sixers this season, Morey getting off of Ben’s contract might save the window for Embiid.

  6. nickbriggles

All those model chicks but he’s the one who got his back broke 😒

  7. TheLazyHasRisen

Who has played more basketball in the past two years?

    Ben Simmons or Bill Simmons?

  8. DangerousCommittee5

Just wait till he starts ramping up

Fuck this guy. I don’t give a flying fuck who you are, if you’re making 30 million a year to play a sport you don’t get to weasel your way out of doing that. You have a better job than 99.99999% of the population and you’re STILL lazy enough to not want to even try to do it well. I never want to hear his fucking name again.

There was a thread before the season about who would you rather have: Westbrook or Simmons. I was one of the few who said Westbrook and took a few downvotes for it. Neither is looking great or anything but I said it then that I don’t think Ben ever fully returns to playing basketball. He doesn’t enjoy it, he just happens to be really good at it. I don’t know if he ever plays again.

This dude is just a pathetic bum. Hope this is his last NBA contract.

This dude is really just gonna do the bare minimum to collect the next 2 years of this deal and will bounce. I will be SHOCKED if Ben Simmons doesn’t retire following this contract.

  13. autistic_hybrid

I think it was when he was still in Philly that I read he wants to retire after this contract. I don’t think he wants to play in the NBA at all, just wants the money.

No idea he was even out. Dude is irrelevant now

  15. SardonicSeraphim

Second year in row he gets paid 35mil for little to no work. He’s living the dream.

  16. MarleyLurkin

He’s gonna be outta of the league next season it don’t matter

  17. The plummet Ben Simmons has had is one for the ages, you’d never believe an all star player fell off so quickly. Most of his skills should have aged well and instead he cratered his game completely

  18. testiclefrankfurter

Has anyone ever had less of that dawg in him than Ben Simmons

  19. Get this dude out of the league, sick and tired of hearing the media not shut up about some random guy who isn’t even playing

  20. glockster19m

Could Ben Simmons be a contender for most money made off the least games played?

  21. ComradeCaveman

At some point, we have to hold the people of Australia responsible.

I recognize the damage Canadians have brought upon the world by allowing Drake to escape our country. It’s time for Aussies to step up and apologize for Ben Simmons.

  22. tenqajapan

Can we just stop talking about him and forget he even existed. He actually gains (and likes) all this attention despite not playing. It’s only a win-win for him. Ignoring him is the best way.

  23. Ironicallistically

They still charging $150 for Ben jerseys at Barclays lol
