I think it’s more that his losing a lot, probably feels like a lot of his losses are out of his control with his shit team, Kyrie is nice but not enough for a ring and for a guy like Luka a ring is all he is looking for at this point. This guys also browse Socials so it wouldn’t surprise me if all the talk about Kidd being bad is also affecting him because he feels like he should have a much better coach. I’m not surprised too as he saw a team like the lakers get the pieces to try and get Bron to compete yet he is here stuck in basketball purgatory.

Apparently theres a lot of stuff going on in his personal life too including that recent legal battle with his mother and who knows what else, not sure if its more bc of Kyrie or the organization. Regardless, as a fan of the sport you hate to see a player of his caliber thats clearly projected for greatness like this. Watching him answer in that postgame interview clip is pretty heartbreaking. Hoping his personal problems outside basketball resolve bc the man is just too damn good.
