The Bulls are in a tight race for the 8 seed in the East, with an easier schedule than the teams ahead of them, the Hawks and Raptors. Even though the Clippers have a better record than the Bulls and are playing at home, this is a winnable game for the Bulls. I wouldn’t bet my house on it, but it could happen.
The Clippers are favored by 4.5 points, but the Bulls are playing well and Paul George is out. Kawhi Leonard is listed as probable. The Bulls played the Lakers yesterday but only DeRozan and LaVine played starter minutes yesterday, so everyone else should be well rested. Plus it was an early game yesterday and there was no travel afterwards, so they should have slept well.
Other than Lonzo Ball, who is out for the season, the Bulls’ only injured player is Javonte Green, who has missed the last two games but is listed as day-to-day.
We get 2 of 3 of these LA games and take care of business against the Hawks, Hornets and Pistons i like our chances. We need that 7th seed.
