  1. Keldon jhonson and victor would be a duo we never knew the nba needed. I mean 2 20 ppg scorers. Victor will score a lot better in the nba because first there’s more posseions and more minutes in quarters.and the way the def set up is he is def getting buckets

  2. I feel like we move on from Tre regardless of who we get in the draft. He's improved every year and would be a solid backup, but when we traded J-Rich for Graham (who has two years left on his deal, next year fully guaranteed), that signaled to me that the Spurs were willing to move on from Tre.

Hayes would be an interesting get for this team. Hayes and Wesley, both being 6'-4", would be a pretty tall backcourt, especially with Sochan occasionally playing point forward.

But like Swisheel said, I hope they trade back into the lottery to grab another player like, Rayan Rupert, Anthony Black, Jarace Walker, Cason Wallace, etc

  3. I dont think anyone is excited about a Wemby-Jones 1-2 punch but I think it would work quite nice. Pick and roll, Jones running around screens for pull up 3's. I think Sochan needs time before hes becomes "PG of future"

  4. Keep Tre Jones and make him the backup. Best thing about Jones is his ability to consistently recognize and hit other players on the ally-oop. Excited the crowd.

Wesley can play pg and sg until he’s further developed.

  5. If we draft wemby I think we'll probably move sochan to the point and start branham. If we draft scoot we'll start him at the point and start branham. If we draft Miller same as if we draft wemby. Unless he is willing to come off the bench he is a goner

  6. I think tre jones is a solid back up but not a starter. We need to lock up collins he could be a good mentor to Wemby.

  7. i dont get how getting wemby means tre no longer is needed…last time i checked wemby doesnt play PG. like what are we talking about? Dont get me wrong i think Jones is better suited being a back up long term. as far as this hayes guy goes he doesnt look all that impressive. hes just tre jones if tre took more 3s still a bad shooter. younger sure but thats not enough for me to want to drop tre jones altogether.

  8. I main concern with Jones is his defense. He reminds me of Forbes on defense. So many taller guards just shoot over him.

  9. The spurs can improve in all positions. No one player is in place at this point. The one thing the spurs need, over everything, is a No. 1 option. The pieces we have now would support that player.

  10. I don't think there is a necessary rush to do anything rn, I think we just wait till the lottery to see what happens, cause till then is when well get the best idea on what to do next, if that means landing first obv we know who'll be first, anywhere else I 1000%think we go pg, I would love a center mostly but after victor there's a big drop off, and we should only select Brandon miller IF we plan on trading keldon like ASAP. if we land first I think we keep Tre, because really we just need to start giving Blake more mins by next year, like Blake could very much be that starting pg in he future too so no rush to find a new guy. other than Jeremy, dev, kai, Blake, Tre should be untouchable and without hesitation resigned. he serves well as a backup pg and still has room to grow, and if it doesn't work out and we do get victor we draft guard next year. now my ideal scenario if we land wemby and are trying to get a guard this off season should be to trade keldon, great contract, still really young but can help you win now, ideally I want us to talk with the pacers for their lotto pick, give them keldon, great fit for them, and we select Anthony black aswell as wemby. even then I think we could keep Tre, understandable if we let him walk by doing this tho. by keeping Tre with wemby we don't risk anything, we could simply draft a pg next year like I said or if it works out then we could get a center next year and put wemby at pf, still think it makes sense to move on from keldon eventually tho, with all these guys on the current roster emerging as great scoring options and new guys coming in there's no room for keldon to grow as player, well be doing him unjustice by keeping him here

  11. Love this take, Killian Hayes is super underrated and a player who definitely would play well for our Spurs. He's a guy who you need to watch games to actually see his impact and defensively he has a good ceiling, offensively his jumpshot is lowkey solid and would be even more efficient as a Spur.

  12. I don't think that Tre is related to Wemby. I think Tre isn't needed no matter who we draft. We have three 20 year olds that can play PG in today's NBA and Devonte as a pricy backup. Tre is just not good enough. He can't defend, he can't shoot. Its not a PG you can go far with. Its easy to see he isn't as good as his brother

  13. If we get Wemby, we could look like this…
    C – Zach
    PF – Wemby
    SF – Keldon
    SG – Devin
    PG – Sochan
Long athletic team w/ good 3 point shooters
Allows Tre to be potentially best backup PG in the league. Killian shoots worse than Tre and is a bit more turnover prone

  14. Tre can go. He can't run a simple pick n roll that's poetl wasn't getting buckets like he really could.

  15. How would drafting a 7’5” stretch power point forward have any effect on our back up point guard?

  16. You really want Tre to shoot more 3s 😂?

Infact this dude would be so much more efficient if he stepped inside the 3pt arc and took a jumpshot instead of a 3. No way you are serious

  17. In regards to Tre Jones, I believe there may be a chance he is in a tough spot regardless of whom the Spurs draft. If the Spurs win the lottery and draft Victor Wembanyama, then it is likely that the Spurs look to upgrade at PG and pair Wembanyama with a better PG than Tre Jones. If the Spurs draft Scoot Henderson or Amen Thompson, then they would have drafted their PG of the future, meaning Tre Jones will be relegated to a backup.

Either way, I think the Spurs will upgrade at PG at some point down the road, either via the draft, a future draft, or via trade.
