I was excited when KP was added to the mavs, too bad it did not work out but just Bring back boban, Luka lost his smile when he got traded. He no longer enjoys playing really.
I don't know but, I do think that Luka is just not happy sharing the bright light with someone his caliber. If you just watch how they're more successful when the ball movement is so fluid when Kyrie's running the offense and doing it on fast phase. They are more effective and unpredictable offensively. And when Luka is on the floor, the offense is stagnant and the team seems to just standing around the corners just waiting a pass from Luka. Even Kyrie's off ball game is on full display when he shares the floor with Luka. I mean man. Luka's been teaming up with very few talented players now and he hasn't adjust his game to mesh with those the likes of Kristaps, Brunson and Spencer. If Luka really wants to win and enjoy playing basketball, he should be willing to make adjustments on his game.

Time to start talking about how Kyrie is literally a team cancer. He hates that narrative, but partly because it’s actually true. Ever since he left Lebron he’s failed, and teams have failed who have had him. When I saw “failed” I mean, over promised seasons and under-achieved as in, not even making Conference Championships.

You conveniently left out few important details. 1) Luka has been injured since Kyrie trade and has not been the same when on the court as both him and the coach said 2) Mavericks have practically no defense and 3) Jason Kidd has been awful as a coach

Kyrie came into the league at the wrong time with his playstyle.. Grew up watching And1 mixtape tours and watching iso ball like Kobe, Tmac, AI when the league shifted to being more team-centric.. So yeah his handles are great but they don’t contribute to winning
Mavs just aren't an especially well-run team. Everyone remembers their Cinderella run when they beat the Super Heat but forget the many, many seasons where they failed to build around Dirk and then lost in the first or second round. This bad contract problem isn't a new one for them. And unlike Dirk don't think Luka is going to keep putting up with it, especially if Kyrie says fuck it and goes to LA this off-season.
I would love to see Luka in another team. I think he fits with OKC the most. A young team that needs a leader.

Lil Fake Woke brings the same kinda locker room illness that Cancer Provider Tree does (CP3) and it's the most dangerous kind. It's really difficult to detect and infects teammates in ways that possibly won't be definable for years after the fact.
