    We will be the 10th seed for the rest of eternity

  2. KingRagerBlade

    I just can’t imagine Tommy and Ted seeing us at 11 seed and thinking the answer to improve is to tie nearly our entire salary cap to three second/third option type players.

  3. KP has played out of his mind and definitely beat the “when healthy” allegations, but I’m going to feel a bit nauseous when I see the amount of money he and Kuz get in the offseason.

  4. Gotta keep KP no matter what, but Kuz I’m iffy on for sure

  5. BigSportsNerd

    long term unicorn excites me. honestly he hasn’t done that bad here. you know knicks fans still hate his guts and will heckle him any sec they can (saw it personally at the game) but he actually hasn’t been that bad here. One of the few bright spots on the team

  6. SongYoungbae

    Can’t afford to keep all 3 and expect to get much better. But hey, it’s the Wizards way.

  7. Dat_Fcknewb

    Sign both, keep KP, trade Kuz even if the trade value isn’t spectacular, he gets the bag, wiz gets something in return.

  8. The_prawn_king

    This will be unpopular but I think we could look back at the KP deal as worse down the line than the Kuz one, depends on the numbers of course.

  9. Solid-Confidence-966

    Unpopular opinion: It makes more sense in terms of salary cap to let Porzingis walk than it does to let Kuzma walk

  10. KP’s a pro’s pro. I’m never going to be mad at them signing him. But it doesn’t look good for us with a mid 3 core. I think with the Lakers bottoming out and Bron on one leg (foot), Kuz doesn’t have a greener place to look at, so he’s probably considering signing back too. He tweeted this morning this is the best game he’s seen Deni play.

    * PG in the Draft
    * Deni
    * Kuz
    * Beal
    * KP

    It’s not gonna get you past the first round, but it’s not trash either. And if we luck up on like, Amen, who knows. Probably gonna be the mid 4 or mid 5, but barring a top 3 pick, we’re going to be mid next year too. Sign em all.

  11. Re sign KP and let Kuzma walk. Use that money to fill out the roster needs like pg upgrade, rebounding back up big and a 3&d

  12. KD_Burner_Account133

    There are only like 4 out l centers better than KP. Definitely should extend him if possible. Kuzma is only above average. If they can keep him on a good deal then that would be fine, just don’t over pay.

  13. initialsori

    saw it coming but can really say much until we know the details of the contracts

  14. CommunicationMain467

    Kp isn’t the problem, watching him play with all the youngins was a blast

  15. CommunicationMain467

    If we’re gonna commit to this mid 3 please get us a new coach so I can pretend things might be a lil different

  16. Bengals8958

    Really hope they let Kuzma walk. Very refreshing to watch last night and not see any iso-ball.

  17. Moist_Cactus69

    KP very much deserves it, Kuz kinda deserves it

  18. seimoldz

    keep KP, get rid of Kuz. Its time for Deni to replace Kuz and step up. All that Kuz money could be spent better.

  19. summahofgeorge

    Tommy addicted to giving out bad contracts so he can find a way to trade out of them

  20. bigred122

    Yessirskii !!

    Keep the big 3 & get a new starting pg.

    Monte can come off the bench.

    Also add mfs 2 the bench.

  21. Bonzi777

    This is one of those moves that is absolutely and obviously going to back fire. And when it does a bunch of people are going to be like “it was a good move at the time! Were they supposed to just let him leave??”

    So let me just say: it is a bad move right now and yes they should just let him leave if it takes multiple years of 30+ million dollars annually to keep him.

  22. Thepokemonloverr

    Wizards once again trying to form mid level big threes

  23. YOOOO I had a dream KP got a head tatof the wizards logo lmfao

  24. TheMartsy

    I am super happy and he deserves it. But what happens next?

    I dont see this big 3 achieving anything. Kuz, just chucks from anywhere any time, there is no thinking there is just shooting.

    Beal is basically a dude, who thinks he is elite and literally looses as games after doing his typical ISO 24 sec and TO.

    And Porzingis is just too nice of a guy to command from these two the ball in 4th..

    They dont work together…

  25. pen-h3ad

    He’s the only one on the team I seriously care about this point. You can trade anyone else but I wanna keep KP, he keeps the team watchable

  26. This team is so predictable. When you get a chance to lock down an 11 seed, you just have to take it

  27. twodixoncider

    Why? Let him walk…we’re not competing anytime soon.

  28. tweaver16

    They honestly aren’t even good enough to tank smh

  29. drmbrthr

    I’m all in on KP extension.

    Let’s be honest Kuz had a pretty good year. He’s just frustratingly inefficient at times and the ball sticks in his hands. Maybe that could improve? If not we need to S+T or let him walk.

    For his own sake I hope that he declines Wiz offer and goes to another team with a better culture, coaching and organisation. Wiz does not make many right decisions and he would be wasting his prime.

    Do not want to see my guy fighting for peanuts in 10-11th seed with mediocre teammates and subpar coaching for 4 more years.
    No offense to Wiz fans, but the evidence has been there for a while now.

    He can easily get that contract in free agency as he would be an extremely valuable asset in most teams.( Unfortunately he is loyal, so there is a high chance he will sign with Wiz)

    Since KP will only stay if Kuz stays, I’d say, and hear me out: Don’t sign any of them, trade Deni and Beal for a decent PF, hopefully an all star but decent would do if we can’t afford, and build around Kispert, new PF, and new draft guy. I love KP, but the downside of keeping a ball hog like Kuz on an absurdly expensive contract isn’t worth it. Also, Deni has skills, but he is too inconsistent and I don’t know what else can the team do to develop him further if they couldn’t do it in 3 years. Both him and the team will benefit from trading him, and we probably won’t get more capital for him than l right now after that Celtics game. A high draft pick, an all star, Kispert, and the rest of the roster though? Could actually get us pretty far if you ask me.

    I wanna be excited by this, but then I see a trio (I refuse to call them a “Big 3”) of Beal, Kuz, and KP lead this team to a 34-42 record, with a shot at finishing worse than last year. I can see the top 8-9 guys all come back. Barring a magical trade or somehow lucking into Scoot or Victor W. In the lottery, tthere is no reason to not expect 35-ish wins and being under .500 again.
