Luka started to play in best euro league when he was 16. He was the best dallas player when he was 20. And Hardy at his over 20 age is so dumm and so uncapable to play basket that he needed a year in g league and he is not able to play from the beginning of the season?hahah…that is an amazing reasoning. And Tim the brick, the worst player in nba, he is allowed to throw brick after brick and plays 50 minutes lol
The Mavs will win just enough to lose their first round pick, and then go nowhere. I'd rather see them tank.

Finally happy to see Kidd change his rotations and playing Javale more, though his lineups of Morris as center and Javale with four guards look strange.
Luka subbing out in the first quarter when he is missing shots looks smart and probably a rotation that Mavs can do in the remaining games. Luka religiously playing the whole 1st and 3rd quarters regardless of what's happening in the game is stupid. Kidd stubbornly sticking with this scheme since last season just proves how incompetent he is with rotations. Let Kyrie play the entire 1st quarter and Hardy sub Luka midway 1st to allow the two to get hot early. Luka can get hot anytime anyways. Besides, this will allow him Luka to warm up, loosen up, and get the feel of the opponents defensive scheme before going on a tear starting the 2nd quarter
What has become evident to me from this game is that the Mavs lacks youth, size, and athleticism. Poor teams such as Orlando, Houston, and this Indiana team can give up a good fight and overpower opponents just because they have young guys that are big, strong, fast, and athletic. Josh lacks size while Hardy is rather silky smooth and not overpowering. Perhaps they can develop AJ Lawson to replace Reggie next year. AJ has length and can shoot threes and has the potential to be a better defender, scorer, and rebounder than Reggie who is a one-dimensional catch-and-shoot three pointer.
How many close games would the Mavs have won this year if Hardy and McGee played more with the 2nd unit? Especially when Maxi was out for 30+ games. Those two could have a made just enough of a difference that the Mavs would have went into the final possession up 3 rather than down 3.
It is a cliché to say Luka does not play D but he is having a top 20 in Steals, best rebounding guard and he blocks shots as Jimmy Butler.

Can we make a pretend trade that gives Kyrie to Lakers and Lillard to Dallas and Porttland gets a buch of picks and a cuple of players is that possible i think Lillard with Luka is a better mach as Kyrie is and than get a Center that can rebond and block shots don't need him to score a point he just got's to defend the paint and maybe some gurds just contein them for a bit and than a really good defender than can make wide open threes and that is a championship team
The Mavs went for a run when Luka was on the bench. Luka needs to adjust his play. He holds the ball too much and it disrupts the flow of the offense and does nothing for the other players. The other issue is Jason Kidd's obsession with Powell. Kidd needs to stick with Mcgee. Mcgee is far more useful than Powell.
