The lack of heart and pride in last minutes is huge. Mavs used to be a good clutch team when Luka was doing his thing in the last minutes. They gave up again… that's concerning. Even Luka has lost the anger he used to have when losing games a couple of years ago. He loses and he looks ok with it. In Real Madrid that would be impossible, unaceptable. Mavs organization isn't a winning one. That's something almost impossible to teach; winner mentality.

Kidd’s issue is he’s coaching them the way he would want to be coached, being hands off and letting the players play.

Meanwhile, really loving Avatar so far. As mentioned in yesterday's pod comment section. I think it's finally time to get Isaac on board. He could use it as well in these trying times.
There is no logic behind this "clusterfrick". And even if they won all the games left, it would not change my lack of confidence going into the play-in tournament, let alone the playoffs… The season started poorly, but there was a go-to play that would work, Luka posting and forcing points in the paint, whenever "shooters" (it's hard to call that to such streaky scorers) were missing open 3s. Mavs don't even try that now! It's just miss, after miss, after miss… Stop this nonsense, get 3&d guys that are not consistently bad and populate around Luka and uncle Drew. The amount of open, non contested 3s this team misses is embarrassing.
Luca should stop coming in the 4th quarter especially with Kyrie, let Kyrie do what he do best cause if it ain't broken dont change it. Luca and Powell combo is already OBVIOUS.
Mavs were never good
This is a prime example Jason Kidd is not the coach you want to coach this team. 1. Why was J Harden on the bench in the last few minutes along with McGhee on the bench.
2. Luka and Kleber are "NOT" you best defensive players. You can not have both on the court in crunch time.
3.The pace of the game slowed down and Kidd should have called time out and make adjustments!!! Good grief enough of J Kidd!!!!
