With GP2 in the lineup + when Wiggins returns, will the Warriors be a top 5 defensive team?
Whilst Jordan Poole is immensely talented and has a potentially incredible future ahead of him, his inability to make the correct decisions during the game has cost the Warriors more games than he has contributed to winning this season. The Warriors are winning nothing if Steve Kerr keeps deferring the running of the team to Poole until he is more experienced. I don't understand, for the life of me, why Jordan Poole is the one controlling the game when Curry is on the floor. This has been, in my opinion, the main reason, along with the lack of any defensive effort by the entire roster, why the Warriors have been mediocre this regular season.
In my humblest of opinions, Kuminga and DeVincenzo should play more minutes and Jordan Poole should have his minutes reduced just a little. Both those players are infinitely better at defence than Poole, and the Warriors are not starving for offence to the point that Pooles' mistakes are not too costly.
If wiggins can't go back in playoffs..gsw needs to trade him for a star bigman.
