As someone who never lost faith that DJ and Young would not gel together, this season has been pure vindication. Trading away multiple firsts to get a second Point Guard never made much sense, and reeked of desperation rather than careful planning.

The only thing that can save Atlanta basketball wise, is if somehow they convince the Celtics to trade Jalen Brown for Trae Young or something like that. JB wants to leave the Celtics and he is from Atlanta. However, I don't think the Celtics are stupid enough to take on Young's contract/defensive liabilities. Unless that unlikely scenario happens I see them failing and us getting multiple picks around 10th to 15th in the draft. And we've shows who we can get with those picks

It was never Nate’s full fault in ATL smh he was a scapegoat for Trae’s ego, where is the Hawks fan who wanted smoke — like I told y’all bum a** the Hawks ain’t going nowhere — & this iteration of the team they have isn’t as good or deep as they were last year but have some good talent, mgmt is trash tho so that’s more tragic

Ain’t it strange that the top three or five picks of the 2018 draft class seem to be struggling or at their worse this season ie. Ayton (mediocre), Marvin Bagley III (probably outta the league soon), Luka Dončić (like your cowboys, mavs have an inept front office), Jaren Jackson Jr. (He aight) , and Trae Young (I’m not gonna say anything about him) 🤷🏽♂️
