We are screwed if they cant figure this out.
Duren should be starting. Bagley needs to be on the bench. Wiseman and Bagley are the same player, except Wisemen is bigger and can play better defense.
Wiseman and Duren makes sense. They should have been together in the final minutes playing defense.
Unless they want to lose and think Duren pushes us towards those wins.
Casey needs to go.
If the Lottery Balls fall right and we get Wemby, we will win a playoff game next year. I believe we will be greatly improved with the excellent (1-5) players we could obtain and Troy making moves to balance the roster.
Regarding Duren, he is the 5 of the future; I think they are trying to get a better feel for what Wiseman can do against STARTING caliber bigs because they know Duren can compete perfectly against these guys. They have to make big $$ decisions regarding Wiseman, where Duren is on his rookie deal. I would like to see Wiseman and Duren together and it is frustrating to not see them paired; I have no idea why Duren and Wiseman were not in the final 7 seconds of our OKC game together for defense and rebounding…..sad.
I think RJ would be a good sign on the cheap for (11-15) of the bench for depth but you could be right with the showcase for future employment.
Would not be shocked if Weaver trades Bagley for Tim Hardaway Jr.
12:29 Did you really do this again? You say Jalen Duren hasn't proven anything then go on to declare him a better player than Wiseman and Bagley as well as a guaranteed part of the core and the Pistons center of the future.
If he has "proven" those two things then perhaps we better get a good long look at those other two because this summer is gonna be the official start of decision time for them.
