The Los Angeles Lakers got revenge on the Chicago Bulls last night with a 121-110 win. Anthony Davis led the Lakers in scoring with 38 points while LeBron added 25 points of his own. After the game Anthony Davis gave an optimistic view of the Lakers with only six games remaining. AD said quote, “we can definitely make a run. We’ve got all the right pieces from top to bottom.” Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe react to Lakers win vs. Bulls.

Honestly we see what both of them are doing here, it's the typical LeBron vs MJ argument just in a different format. Because Shannon's telling Skip, "Don't be surprised if the Lakers don't even make it out of the Western Conference Semis" while Skip's responding with, "All of the pieces are there . . . You should totally be meeting 'The Best Player on the Planet' in KD on the WCF stage." We see what Shannon would call Bull jive that they're trying to show us, they're setting the expectations, as in Shannon's trying to set MJ at UNC (shoutout Tarheel Nation) expectations settings for LeBron, while Skip's trying to set the highest expectations for LeBron as possible as in LeBron losing to KD in the WCF w/o sounding like a Hypocrite. Because if Skip were to reach all the way out and say, "LEBRON SHOULD REACH THE NBA FINALS AND WIN IT THIS YEAR WITH THE TEAM HE HAS!!!" Then Skip would be "Skipping" out on the Grizzlies who he liked pre-KD trade and Skip would also be skipping out on KD and the Suns. While I agree with Skip here in the terms of his bottom line, "Go Face KD in the WCF" Because that's the kind of ceiling they have (might be even more than that depending on how these playoffs play out). However I also agree with Shannon's bottom line, "If AD's not going to be putting up somewhere between 25-40 points & 10-20 rebounds he's out on the Lakers in the terms of getting to the WCF". However Anthony Davis just turned 30 y/o 20 days ago, he needs to prove to Laker Nation and Shannon. That this year he's finally accepting the torch/baton/Keys to the Kingdom that LeBron's been trying to pass to him for the past 2 years.

A lot of people don’t understand how good Troy Brown Jr really is for the lakers. He’s used to create fantastic catch an shoot plays, also his contesting efficiency with the excellent defense he possesses. They’ll use Lonnie for certain games and reasons, and will play Troy Brown Jr for certain games and reasons. Troy Brown has height, in which Lonnie doesn’t have. So if they played Lonnie off the bench for a certain team, it would be only to be because they need offensive plays. Lonnie knows his role, and so does Troy Brown JR. Troy brown had a block party on the bulls last game with an amazing two blocks in two seconds. If you want to see them win it all, that’ll be with Troy Brown Jr playing his role, and that’s why he deserves his minutes.
