Will it be like this for the all defensive teams too ? Not sure if the defensive teams are considered all nba as well

Why would we even offer him a max at this point. He’ll be 30 when he signs a max and will be 34-35 by the time it expires. Trade him now and start a rebuild.

  3. Hopefully he and Fred will be on another team by then anyways.

Maybe, but 65 game minimum significantly increases it. By the end of this season I bet half of the all NBA players announced would have been disqualified under this new rule. 3rd team is going to start looking pretty weak.

Good. You don’t play like it, then you don’t deserve it, simple as that.

Hes not a supermax player anyways so this doesnt affect him

Do you expect that there’s 4 or 5 centers that should on the All-NBA teams? Or that there’s more than 6 guards that will make it? I’m thinking that this would benefit forwards?

He can negotiate that with his new team….

  9. This is great news for the Raptors, especially since it’s unlikely he makes it this year. As a regular max player Pascal makes sense, especially with a cap that’s going up. Even if the idea is to move him it still makes sense for the team getting him.

A lot will depend on what happens to close out this season because increasingly it looks like to the new make up of the team is hindering Pascal significantly.

I don’t think that’s the case. Forward is a deep position, and I could certainly see 7 or 8 forwards making a future team over a center or guard.

The 65 game limit is significant, too. LeBron, Durant and Steph all would have been ineligible for All NBA last year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a couple extra slots open up with that rule change.

That’s okay, spicy p is a max (not supper max) player …let’s not pretend otherwise.

There’s no shame in it either
