I thought this was the answer! It had seemed many years overdue. Ernie was apparently a jerk, never spoke to the media, and made many bone headed moves.
It seems that Sheppard is largely about the same as Ernie with good trades and bad drafting. It makes me question if Shep was a driving behind some of the Euro draft pick busts.
I really hope Ted doesn’t mandate or heavily influence the “play in or failure” mentality but it really appears to be likely.

Lmaooo I still have my screenshot saved from when I got the news too.
The results haven’t been better, but I think Tommy’s moves are better than Ernie’s for the most part.
Tommy does shit that occasionally gives up hope. So, at least there’s that. I guess
Tommy is a lot better than Ernie. I think he has been a solid to good gm so far.
