  1. I love the fact that we’re giving these guys HOF vids sooner. They already did the work to earn it why make them wait

  2. I still go back to watch highlights from that 2011 run. Absolutely legendary considering the road to the championship. Nothing short of the greatest shooting big man ever.

  3. Arguably the greatest playoff run of all time was the Dallas 2011 run.

Swept the mamba and the Lakers
Beat 3 top 75 players in okc
    Beat the heat big 3

    Just legendary

  4. Dirk Nowitzki is the reason I love basketball. Been an NBA fan ever since I first started watching him and the Mavs in the early to mid 2000s. Well deserved hall of famer.

  5. People talk about how Steph changed the game. He did. But we gotta talk about Dirk too. The way bigs shoot them 3s. It's because of him.

  6. Dirk nowitzki is one of the most skilled big men I've ever seen congratulations on getting elected for the Naismith hall of Fame you deserve it

  7. He played SMALL FORWARD? That's Dirk for you , sees himself SMALL but has a BIG heart and just wanna play ball. Congratulations Dirk!

  8. I’m a lakers fan but yup I was rooting for Dirk against the heat. Almost celebrated like the lakers won the chip that year.

  9. That 2011 run he defeated
    Back2back NBA champs in Lakers
    Back2back scoring champ in KD
    Back2back NBA MVP in LeBron
    That's crazy

  10. After Kobe, MJ and Timmy D, he is probably the only player i truly will take my hats off, shake his hands and bow to him, appreciate him for being loyal to his team, going through thick and thin with one team, and make that amazing run with Dallas even though it's only one-off

  11. I still say we call that iconic step-back jumper "The Dirk." Not just because his name is "Dirk," but because, in another sense, a dirk is an actual kind of small dagger. And since that shot he made so infamous was so often "the dagger"…

Congrats, Dirk. Well-deserved. Heck of a guy, both on and off the court. 👌🏾

  12. This dude is cold blooded. That title run was one of the best success stories ever in the NBA

  13. One of the likeable players of all time that doesn't need to have a superteam to win a championship… 😂
