[Wojnarowski] ESPN Sources w/ @BobbyMarks42: NBA and NBPA agreed to eliminate restrictions limiting a team to two designated super-max players. This would have a huge impact for Cavs, who have Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland on super max deals and Evan Mobley approaching rookie extension.

Pretty sure Mitchell is one of the vice presidents of the nbpa, that sly man

  2. I thought they would have been able to sign Mobley to the rookie max regardless?

  3. Welp we all know where the east runs through.

Ensures that Mobley will sign 5 year max rookie extension and Cavs get a better shot at resigning Mitchell too with Garland and Mobley around for long haul
