The Donovan Mitchell trade was a HOME RUN (Cleveland Cavaliers)
The decision to trade for Donovan Mitchell has already paid dividends as the Cleveland Cavaliers are having one of the most successful seasons in franchise history.
Totally agree. We were trying to make Lauri play SF and heās flourishing now at his natural position: PF. And like you said ā the biggest need was another playmaker to go along with Garland. Crazy to think where we mightāve been without Mitchell during his absences
Mitchell is a superstar with Dwayne Wade 2.0 skillsets. With Curry's long range 3 point shot and D.Wade's inside dribble and dunk, he is a dangerous player. The team is already number one in defense with a 26-year-old player… don't be surprised if everyone stays healthy. It is possible for Spida to win a series with three 40+ games in a row.
Of all the players that were traded for or picked up in free agency, it would be hard to say that Mitchell wasn't the best fitting. The team maintained its identity and no one got worse. Instant harmony, with huge props to both Mitchell and Garland.
Ok, but they paid a lot for Mitchell. Like they basically can't trade for anyone the next 4 – ish years, which sucks when they obviously lack depth and wings.
Trading those picks and players seemed too much but what is the probability of the Cavs having someone of Mitchellās caliber? Mitchell is way more valuable than all those assets.
What makes him amazing is his work ethic and the fact that he gets better every single week. Thereās a new move, and heās actually cold af on defense.
Irony of this trade is that cavs truely need markkanen in their team. When playoffs come you will see how 2 undersized back court guards will ruin you. Jazz won this trade hands down.

Yes it was
Depending on the playoff performance from Okoro & Levert we should think about getting a SF and for sure need a better bench
I just looked at possible Free agents and Oubre Jr & Grant look like interisting players to me (both UFA)
I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have. āāThomas Jefferson

Great video Tony š keep them coming!
I only hope we can resign him in a couple of years and still keep this core.

No it wasn't they could've kept Collin or Markkanen and let Levert's highly inconsistent game go.
sac and pacers trade are perfect ,too
I agree with everything you said.

Best trade was kawhi to Toronto. He brought them a championship and then dipped unfortunately
Three first round draft picks as well as a good rookie such as Ochai Agbaji
