No. 6 Nets (43-35) just earned W vs. Jazz to move two games ahead of No. 7 Heat (41-37). With Nets owning tiebreaker, Miami needs a lot to go its way to get to No. 6. Even if Heat wins final 4 games, Nets need to go 1-3 or 0-4 for Miami to move into No. 6 and avoid play-in.
Closing the regular season at No. 7 is by far the most likely outcome for Heat. In fact, that could be locked in by mid-week, which would give Heat an opportunity to rest players in the final days of the regular season.

The outcome of this season is leaning heavily to a first round exit but im curious to see who steps up other than Jimmy in the play in and first round series.
If we can’t win 1 of 2 games we don’t deserve to be in the playoffs so I’m not at all concerned

It’s not the end of the world if we lose in the play-in. Atleast the FO will hove no choice but to re-tool.
I still think the same as I did in January. This team makes it to the 2nd round and i’m not sure what happens after that. Depending on who they decide to be really because consistency is long gone
