@Houston Rockets

When Alperen Sengun was on the court, the Rockets had a 120 ORTG and 124.7 DRTG. In the 10 minutes he sat, they had a 65 ORTG and 165 DRTG lmao. Finished as a -5 in a 25 point loss, he was truly excellent.

    I get under people’s skin so bad for being right all the time that y’all know me by name. Das cute <3

    This is similar to the “see we’re better when KPJ plays!” argument. No shit. His backup is Dashien Nix. In Sengun’s case, his backup is undersized Usman Garuba. Sencone still got spanked by AD and allowed him to shoot his highest percentage on the most attempts this season. Sengun will be a great 6th man when we’re ready to compete.

    How you should read this: Sengun is a negative defender, but his backups are even worse.

    Sorry as an honorary clutch fan this makes too much logical sense for me to comprehend

    Therefore, Fire silas

    Sengun isn’t the full problem here but 125 is also atrocious lol

    This also says more about Garuba and the bench than Sengun

    Y’all gotta relax a 125 DRTG is not “truly excellent” that’s fucking terrible, regardless of the backups being worse.

    Sengun can’t guard elite centers that are 7’ or 6’11” with elite athleticism or length.

    This is a problem most teams have.
