I wouldn’t be surprised if they sat all the starters. Best case for the Celtics – the backups push the Sixers or even win (again). Worse case, its a blowout but no moral victory for the Sixers.

Sixers need to win for their own self belief, and for Joel’s MVP narrative. I know he said he doesn’t care, but we all know he wants respect. Losing it at the last minute due to a couple mediocre weeks would suck, he would feel disrespected and if Harden leaves in free agency it would all culminate in a really bad off-season for him and us. Just get this damn win and hopefully we can build some momentum for the playoffs.
