It’s always clearly been about the team he went to. Imagine if Jordan joined the Pistons, Kobe joined Suns, Bron joined the Celtics etc lmao
It’s kind of funny to have two separate players on our team, who are a different franchise’s GOAT, and the fans of those franchises hate their guts
KD is def getting his jersey retire in OKC. After Westbrook but it’s def gonna hang in the rafters
Fun fact: If Shaq had joined the 72-win Bulls in 1996, it would’ve been a less decorated player (he wasn’t MVP yet) going to a team with a worse record.
I’m sure it hurt him but to say he didn’t “get it”, i don’t think even he believes that lol, he’s both too smart and too obsessed with his image to now know why.

Leaving wasn’t the issue. Could have joined any other team (maybe not the Spurs) and fans would have been ok with it.
LOL some thunder fan was getting shit on so hard for saying everyone needs to get over KD being a snake he deleted it. At least have enough backbone to stick by your statement nephew. Fuck KD
that photo is the stuff of nightmares.

What team is KD wanting to retire his jersey when he retires??
OKC- Fans lost respect.
Dubs- Never got respect by joining a 73 win team.
Brooklyn- Just a dumpster fire from day one.
Suns- Bucks will destroy them
Love Kd
I feel this is KD’s most mature response to his OKC tenure I’ve seen. As an OKC fan I dig it
I would root for the thunder so hard if he went back and really tried to make a run
Easy sniper mercenary. That’s the legacy of my fave player 🤦🏾♂️
I absolutely believe he “didn’t get it”.
These sheltered pampered athletes don’t live in reality. And all the ass kissers around them ensure they don’t.
Coming to a realization I suppose is different for all but saying you didn’t get it before either shows me he’s not a smart guy and aware of things and others around him or he’s a really big narcissist. I mean, OKC didn’t have some long NBA history with winning and past greats. KD was the foundation for that. This organization was new to the community, you acknowledge that in MVP speeches and all the other times you acknowledge the community and whatnot…so is all that fanfare then and that’s why you didn’t see it then but do now? Haha I mean if he didn’t see the impact that’s just more of a sad thing.
Man I really wish he stayed on the thunder. He and prime Westbrook was the most entertaining duo I’ve ever seen.
🐍 don’t know why he a snake lol
