Wait for next year when we’re on a losing streak and some idiot fans will call for his head to roll. Being a lakers fan is a rollercoaster ride for sure.

r/lakers: “Rob Pelinka is the worst GM in the league. No…in the HISTORY of sports!!!”

That’s all I was hearing months ago lol

It’s still hard to believe he pulled that off… especially since he was dealing with Danny Aignes.

Rob got hated for playing the waiting game and not biting on fleeced deals. Now it looks like it’s paying off big time for us.

    Man big shoutout to VANDO

Consistent effort and defense every game. Hasn’t missed a single game, the iron man

Pelinka went crazy that offseason we got AD. Made an even better roster the year after. It was the Westbrook deal, that AD and Lebron approved, that was terrible. It was still Pelinka’s decision at the end, there’s no LeGM. But he’s redeemed himself now.

The new CBA would’ve prevented this trade from happening (first rnd pick) and we’d be stuck with Russ. ‘Lakers wouldn’t have been able to trade their 2027 first-round pick in the deal for Vando, Beas and DLO.

Those first few month in the season were pretty tough and hard to watch sometimes but so glad he was actually patient and looking back at it now

3 out of 4 good roster years, imo.

Last year’s decisions just don’t match up with his style in the other 3, so I still think something political was happening behind the scenes

Edit: also he got a contract extension after the Westbrook trade, not sure he would have gotten that if he was the driving force behind it

I gave in to the mob and started making some pretty harsh judgments on Rob, which he’s proven wrong (or at least, redeemed himself from).

The day of that trade remains the best day in recent memory.

I feel like Dany Angie wasn’t happy about the way he left the Celtics lol
