Idk man, we could’ve used more ball movement, Bridges could’ve been a little more efficient, or gotten a better whistle, but it just felt like a tough game we lost. Credit to Minnesota, they were making some difficult shots in that 2nd half. Sucks to lose that but I’m not too mad at it. We still control our destiny.

This officiating. There’s just no fucking way

  3. AyyyeRudy

Just win vs Detroit and all will be forgiven

  4. KingofthisShit

Live by Dinwiddie ball, die by Dinwiddie ball.

Can’t believe, Vaughn took a timeout to draw that “play”.

  5. NefariousToilet

Dinwiddie was taking that last 3 if it was the last thing he ever did. Didn’t matter if it was 5 on 1, he was shooting it.

  6. Whistle was def against us but is what it is, just gotta focus on detroit

  7. sabascastellon

Tough loss. Good game Spencer. Hopefully we get a big who could spread next year.

  8. Glad to see DFS 3s hitting more often, at least!

  9. I honestly think the ref saw Dinwiddie get fouled and didn’t call it out of spite. It would be nice if he didn’t complain so much cause these refs just hate him.

  10. ThePessimisticBella

What would be the most feasible playoff-clinching scenario?

  11. KzudemJ

not having claxton on KAT in the 4th is what lost the game

  12. Scizzurp

    It is what it is.

I actually thought they would lose the ATL and Minny game. Them winning the ATL game basically guarantees the 6th seed at this point.

This offense will stink over a full season unless Mikal can come back better at playmaking/ball handling. He turns over the ball too much for someone that isn’t using that many touches and he doesn’t have much gravity to make up for it.

We really needed Clax on the floor for those last 5 minutes. I guess the idea was that if the nets went 5 out the wolves would have to keep Gobert on the bench but honestly I think Clax is a better player than Gobert

  14. I’m a big JV fan but his strategy to sit Claxton and let Dinwiddie hijack the endgame offense was a total failure.

  15. ughwhateverman

JV lost this game with straight up bad coaching. There were zero attempts to try to make Mikal’s life easier (calling actions to switch an all defense player off of him in McDaniels), benching Claxton for the final 4 minutes for…reasons? It works when it’s Rudy Gobert but not when there’s skilled big man in KAT

Lastly, I’ve been saying this for weeks but why doesn’t Sumner play? He’s an attacking guard who could lead a bench filled with shooters. That seems pretty ideal & he’s a better defender than Seth or Cam. He and Yuta should receive way more opportunities than they have

There’s about 45 times a game where the ref influences the outcome directly. This is such a great sport but also a terrible sport for that reason. They fouled dinwiddie and conely grabbed dfs on how left arm he would have layed the ball up with.

  17. I want Cam to get burn but it’s obvious this year he’s not going to help us. Would love to have seen Sumner play there.

  18. Netsnuts

I’m trying not to be biased, but does it seem like refs literally try to guid the game a certain way so that other games have more importance for ratings.

  19. acmilan12345

Tough loss, but the Nets fought hard in this game. In the end, the Nets just lacked that go-to scorer in the fourth quarter.

  20. POP_OFF_THEN

Clax needed to be in there longer to be the KAT stopper. Small ball works when it’s Gobert in the game

  21. OkExternal1776

No claxton is just a terrorist game plan. In what world can Royce guard KAT?
